The case, Mahmoud v. Taylor, revolved around Muslim, Christian, and Jewish parents from Montgomery County, Maryland. The county school board would not allow these parents to remove their elementary school children from portions of class actively advocating for things like gay marriage, trans-identifying children, pride parades, and the idea that a child can change his “gender identity” at any given moment.
Attorneys for the county board are claiming the purpose of the instruction was to simply engender “inclusivity,” and that the children who were being exposed to the material, ranging from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade, were only being shown that gay “marriages” exist. But that narrative was swiftly cut down by questioning from Justice Samuel Alito to parents’ attorney Eric Baxter, senior counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. //
The books and instruction materials themselves are incredibly controversial, particularly for the exclusively young and captive audience they are meant for in Montgomery County, and Justices Alito and Brett Kavanaugh were both perplexed as to how it became unfeasible for the schools to allow an opt-out choice for parents.
The county offers opt-outs for “virtually everything else under the sun,” said Principal Deputy Solicitor General Sarah Harris, who is representing the Trump administration on the side of the parents. But when it comes to force-feeding children gay and trans propaganda, the opt-out is “not administrable,” according to Schoenfeld. //
Justice Amy Coney Barrett took a different route, noting how Montgomery County’s policy is not one that simply exposes children to a concept, but rather relays a point of view as an unquestionable fact.
“It’s saying: ‘This is the right view of the world,’” Barrett said. “This is how we think about things. This is how you should think about things. This is like, 2+2 is 4.”
The school board also claims that there is no religious hostility in the requirement, but Justice Neil Gorsuch pointed to instances where board members said students were repeating their parents’ religious “dogma,” and expressing anger that the issue has some Muslim parents joining forces with others who they described as white supremacists and xenophobes.
The Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes clinicians use to report services to health insurers have become a linchpin in the American health care system. These codes are federally mandated, and all health care providers must pay royalties to the AMA to use them. That’s a heck of a cash cow for the AMA.
In 2023, the AMA raked in a staggering $495 million in revenue. A full 62 percent, $308 million, came from royalties tied to the use of CPT codes. And every dollar is paid for by taxpayers, via Medicare and Medicaid, or employers and employees in the private health insurance market.
The AMA’s financial windfall is made possible by the federal government. In 1983, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) mandated that CPT codes be used to report services under Medicare Part B. By 1986, Medicaid programs also had to adopt these codes. The 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) then solidified CPT codes as the national standard for electronic health transactions. These federal mandates essentially forced every health care provider to rely on the AMA’s CPT code system, creating a monopoly. Cha-ching!
There is another model out there, though. The diagnoses being addressed by health care providers are tracked using International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes. But ICD codes are free for use by any entity worldwide. There is no reason a similar system couldn’t be developed for CPT codes. //
The AMA has also publicly advocated against “policies excluding transgender individuals from restrooms and other facilities.” In other words, the AMA is perfectly fine with that weird teacher lurking in your middle school daughter’s locker room.
By promoting the trans agenda, the AMA is using its substantial influence — funded by taxpayer dollars through federally mandated royalties — to advocate for policies that Americans repudiated in the last election and that may not be in line with the views of many doctors or patients across the country.

Things are moving along, but I'd like to see more girls refuse to participate in sports where mentally ill men are allowed to compete. The fencer who took a knee and others have the right idea. I'm not opposed to Trump's EO or these lawsuits, but the only way this stops is when girls refuse to compete in these situations. Middle aged white dudes can't end it. Soccer moms can't prevent it. The only ones with real power are the ones being hurt. If every girl refused to compete against them--these narcissistic, deranged boys would give it up. Because what they're really after is the affirmation of their delusion and the thrill of a "win" they can only get by competing against women.
As Alexander Solzhenitsyn pointed out in Live not By Lies, participation in lies by agreeing to be bound by them is a large part of what gives them power. When you refuse to pretend that men are women and that their involvement if girls' sports is OK, you weaken the whole false edifice. Eventually it will collapse. But most important the ones who have to stop agreeing to the lie are the girls themselves. We should all support them unequivocally, but they have to do it.
Trans-identifying male Redmond Sullivan is out on the women’s team after female fencer Stephanie Turner refused to compete against him and was given a black card in response, removing her from the competition.
“We are in full compliance with NCAA and NEC rules and regulations. The fencer is not a member of our fencing team,” Wagner College Spokesperson Jim Chiavelli said in a statement to silive.com about Sullivan.
At the time of this publication, it is unclear if Sullivan was removed from the team or voluntarily stepped down.

Payton McNabb won a Title IX victory after encountering a transgender-identified male in a women’s restroom at Western Carolina University.
NOT ONE MAJOR NEWS AGENCY REPORTED ON THIS.
dailycitizen.focusonthefamily.com
Payton McNabb, Injured Volleyball Player, Wins Title IX Victory
8:34 AM · Apr 6, 2025
“That just opened the door for me to start listening more to the other side, really. Because if you’re willing to lie to me and tell me that a man can become a woman, then I wonder what else could you be lying to me about?”
"In previous years when I had known about transgender fencers being present, I just wouldn't register, but for this one, Redmond must have signed up after me," Turner said.
"I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to give it to God. If this person shows up to my event and is on my script, then I would take a knee, and that would be God's will.'"
It was not a decision she came to lightly, however.
Turner paid close attention to the "protect women's sports" movement that has emerged in recent years, and the backlash and harassment faced by the women who took part in it. She recalled the story of Riley Gaines being held hostage and assaulted at San Francisco State University in April 2023.
The idea of the backlash haunted Turner, but wasn't enough to stop her from taking the knee.
"It will probably, at least for a moment, destroy my life. I don't think that it's going to be easy for me from now on going to fencing tournaments. I don't think it's going to be easy for me at practice," Turner said. "It's very hard for me to do this."
For Turner, one of the sacrifices she is most concerned about is impeding the friendships she has with people in the LGBT community, who she said don't currently know about her stance on the issue.
As a lifelong Democrat, Turner insists she never opposed LGBTQ people. But the issue of trans inclusion of women's sports has driven her away from supporting the party, and she now identifies as a "new Republican conservative."
"I voted red down the ticket this year," Turner said. "It was like waking up to the lies of the mainstream media… Just to watch so many of my friends have this glassy-eyed look while just defending this policy because their brains can not manage the possibility that their party or their position has been wrong on this, and perhaps this isn't a civil rights movement, and they have been misled."
Turner added that she fully supports President Donald Trump cutting funding to states that allow trans athletes to compete in women's and girls sports.
"Something needs to be done, and there are activists who have embedded themselves in authoritative positions in sports bodies."

In my view, the bottom line is that no one has an inherent right to serve in the Armed Forces. When the person suffers from a diagnosable mental illness and requires daily infusions of hormones and other drugs as well as surgery at government expense to live their best fantasy life, they shouldn't be allowed near weapons, ammunition, or explosives. From what we've seen of the impact of transgender "women" on women's athletic teams, you'd have to be a moron not to think they would have a much more deleterious effect while living in close quarters in barracks or deployed.
It is easy for Reyes to make the decisions she's made so far because she has never served in the military and will never have to live with the consequences of her actions.
Now an 11th-grader, Gallagher was back on the track for a Portland Interscholastic League meet at the athlete's home track, where Gallagher was spotted blowing out the competition, especially in the 400M, where the athlete finished more than seven seconds better than the rest of the field. //
There's a great way to end this. It will be painful and unfair for a time, but no less unfair than what's happening now. Every girls' team that faces a team with a male member should walk off the field. Every girl on a team that has a male member should walk away. Refuse to play the game. Refuse to dignify this by participating. Refuse. Enough is enough. This may well be the only way this hideously unfair practice is ended for good.
What the government does for anyone it must do for everyone or it must do for no one. That's what equal treatment under the law is. That's how laws against unfair discrimination, for instance, discrimination based on inherent traits like ethnicity, must apply across the board, no matter what foot that shoe is on.
On Wednesday, the United States Supreme Court seemed to be leaning into a favorable ruling for an Ohio woman who claimed to have been the subject of sex discrimination from her employer - because she is straight. //
Ames contends she was passed over for a promotion and then demoted because she is heterosexual. Both the job she sought and the one she had held were given to LGBTQ people.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 bars sex discrimination in the workplace. A trial court and the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against Ames. //
If we are going to have laws against arbitrary discrimination, then they must apply equally, to everyone, regardless of race, religion, sexual preference, anything. It's ridiculous that this obvious principle has to be fought out to the Supreme Court level, but here we are; if the Court finds in favor of the plaintiff, this will shake up the grievance industry of discrimination claims for a good long while.
In Texas, a doctor and whistleblower at the Texas Children’s Hospital was persecuted by the Biden administration for going public with the reality of these treatments. Award-winning journalist Catherine Herridge interviewed Dr. Eithan Haim and his wife Andrea and released the full interview Monday on X. It is truly must-see TV. Dr. Haim was, of course, persecuted by the Biden Justice Department for blowing the whistle on this unethical and unnecessary care for minors. //
Not only does this case represent an unforgivable instance of lawfare by a presidential administration against a medical practitioner who has gone public with his concerns over what is arguably an unethical practice, but it also shows the depth to which the adherents to gender ideology will go to keep treating kids.
Some key segments follow. The title of the interview is telling as well: "Government Malpractice - vindicated Texas surgeon speaks out after exposing Biden era gender affirming treatments for minors."
While the mainstream press screams bloody murder over the Trump administration's trimming back of the bureaucratic state, shocking new details have emerged about how government resources were being misused. A new report from City Journal has obtained chat logs showing NSA representatives, including from the CIA and FBI, used the NSA's government interlink program to discuss various transgender fetishes and aspects of "transitioning."
The report shows topics such as "genital castration, artificial vaginas, piss fetishes, sex polycules, and gangbangs" were posted using the government system. This is what your tax dollars were going to. //

Government officials have lived in an alternate universe where all their most disgusting, corrupt desires are not only met but encouraged. All while getting paid hefty salaries and benefits packages. And to do what? No one really knows, but they clearly had quite a bit of free time on their hands.
These agencies have to be gutted to the studs, and that's why the work of DOGE and the Trump-appointed heads is so important. Leaving the masses in place and changing a few regulations won't fix this, and the more insane revelations we get, the more of a mandate the administration has. The U.S. government has been inundated by lazy, wasteful, degenerates for decades, and it's about time the hammer dropped. Taxpayer money should not be used to fund a funhouse for mentally ill people.

No, I believe the Feds can withhold funding over refusal to follow Federal policy. They've done it before to enforce speed limits I think it was? Nice highway funding ... too bad you don't want to conform to our thoughts on proper speed (or maybe it was blood alcohol limits). The state could do as they wished, just without those federal highway dollars.

Today, we filed a lawsuit against Target on behalf of the Florida State Board of Administration.
Target’s efforts to sexualize children caused its stock price to plummet, harming Florida’s retirement fund and putting the retirements of our teachers and first responders at risk:
4:13 PM · Feb 20, 2025
Here's the clever part; the Florida state attorney general says the retailer's woke marketing is hurting the state's retirement fund, by:
misleading shareholders and pushing a harmful, leftist agenda, at the expense of shareholder returns.
While Target told their investors they would keep the company out of controversy to protect the stock price, the retailer engaged in a marketing campaign targeting and sexualizing children. //
This radical campaign predictably caused Target's stock price to plummet, wiping out $10 billion in market value in just 10 days, and those loses put the retirement accounts of Florida's teachers and first responders at unacceptable risk.
We've Given the Mentally Ill Too Much Say Over Society and It's Time to Upset Some People – RedState
To be clear, none of these people are under any kind of threat from the greater world. All the supposed "attacks" they're enduring aren't attacks at all. They're either pushback against the transgender activist community for trying to impose its will on the rest of America, or it's nothing at all, much like the U-turn sign. As I said before, conflict as the heart of the Cluster B personality, and if they can't find it, they'll create it.
This isn't a healthy kind of mentality to have on a personal level, and it's definitively not beneficial for a society to be infected by it either.
Transgenderism is a mental illness. It never stopped being one, even after the name was changed from "gender dysphoria." As you've likely seen repeatedly, and in various ways, people who identify as transgender are usually infested with mental illness and sicknesses, many of which are self-diagnosed and others which are reinforced through their community, as well as doctors and psychologists who should lose their license.
People with this kind of mental sickness can hardly handle their own lives, yet a good deal of give them the power to dictate others' lives, including politicians who capitulate to these people, when they should be smiling, nodding, and then moving on from them.
As an American who believes in American values, I think everyone should have a voice, and I think everyone should get to speak their minds to power, even people I disagree with on a fundamental level. In fact, I want them to speak their minds as openly as possible, as it only ever seems to help my point.
But just because they have a voice, it doesn't mean we have to weigh their input with equal measure to someone who clearly hasn't lost their mind. //
To be clear, these people are on a quest to inadvertently destroy themselves, and capitulating to them only brings us down with them. The people in this country need to get to a point where they aren't afraid to simply shrug the demands of the mentally ill off. There is no compassion in giving them what they want, because what they want isn't helping anyone, including them. We need to return to a culture where we recognize that these people are people, but they're troubled.
The cultural position our country needs to take is that transgenderism isn't normal or healthy. These people need assistance to get off the crazy train. //
These people need help, not power. Power is the last thing they need.
What we're actually seeing is a trend on this particular issue, and it's going in the direction of opposition. So, take a look here. Okay, transgendered female athletes, and amongst those Americans who oppose them in women's sports, back in 2021, it was 62%. A majority, but, you know, not anywhere close to a ginormous majority, right? A clear majority, but not a ginormous majority. But then again, you look here in 2025, you see it at 79%. So, it's not just that the majority of Americans are opposed to transgender female athletes in women's sports, it's that the opposition has become considerably larger in just the last four years. //
So transgender female athletes, again, opposing them in women's sports, you get 67% of Democrats, so two-thirds there. You get 64% of independents, you get about two-thirds there. And then look at this, near uniformity among Republicans, 94% of Republicans in opposition. You rarely get 67% of Democrats and 94% of Republicans to agree on anything, but they do on this particular issue.
Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions. This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.
Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding. Moreover, these vulnerable youths’ medical bills may rise throughout their lifetimes, as they are often trapped with lifelong medical complications, a losing war with their own bodies, and, tragically, sterilization.
Accordingly, it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures. //
The order also targets the alleged science behind the treatments. It calls out the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care Version 8 as "junk science” (The Arguments Supporting 'Gender-Affirming Care' Have Never Been 'Based on the Science' – RedState) and directs all agencies to "rescind or amend all policies that rely on WPATH guidance."
As a kicker, the Department of Justice is directed to investigate deceptive practices or misinformation regarding the long-term effects of gender-affirming care, including potential fraud or violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. //

Many countries in Europe have already taken this position after the Cass Report was released in England. Cass found that most of the science supporting child transitions was based on faulty data and an inappropriate relationship between WPATH and the organization doing their research to support their recommendations. Cass found that as many as 95% of kids who identify as trans as children will revert to their biological sex by the time they are adults if they are not treated with anything other than talk therapy. That is now the way most major European countires treat children who identity as trans - psychotherapy only until they are 18.

This lines up with something my late mother was told in the 1950’s. She was being hired as a history teacher at a girls school (private) and her headmistress told her that many girls going through puberty would be uncomfortable with their bodies and blossoming sexuality. Some would develop same sex crushes, and some would experiment with masculine identity. The best course was to treat all this quietly as normal. Don’t make a fuss unless there’s a serious problem. The vast majority would get over the phase.
The Department of Education announced Friday that it had eliminated the Biden-created office of "book ban coordinator" and the supporting office. This office was created in June 2023 in response to many school districts removing age-inappropriate and sexually explicit books from school libraries. //
The director of the "book ban coordinator" office, a gay progressive activist, solicited complaints from activists and threatened school districts with lawsuits by the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights. That all ended on Friday.
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky – Northern Division blocked President Joe Biden’s Title IX rewrite, known as the Final Rule. The ruling applies nationwide.
“Because the Final Rule and its corresponding regulations exceed the Department’s authority under Title IX, violate the Constitution, and are the result of arbitrary and capricious agency action, the plaintiffs’ motions for summary judgment will be granted and the Department’s motion for summary judgment will be denied,” wrote the Court. //
The Final Rule had gender identity, sexual orientation, and sex characteristics.
The Department refused to provide a narrow definition of “sex” “to avoid overbroad application of a prohibition on discrimination based on sex stereotypes.” //
The Court stressed that Title IX’s phrase “on the basis of sex” means exactly what it says when Title IX became law: Sex is female or male. Title IX protects human beings born female. Basic biology! //
The Department of Education also threatened to punish those who refuse to use a person’s preferred name or pronouns.
Well, the Court ruled that violated the First Amendment //
The Final Rule violated the Constitution’s Spending Clause since it threatened to withhold funds from schools that did not abide by the rewrite.
Legislation must satisfy a four-prong test to limit federal funds.
The Court found the Final Rule did not satisfy the fourth prong: “the conditions must not induce unconstitutional action.”. //
Bruce Hayden | January 9, 2025 at 3:34 pm
I find interesting the use of vacatur, which, by necessity, is nationwide. If a regulation violates the APA, and is thus void, it makes no sense for it to be void in just the ED of KY. Void is void, and that is what the APA calls for.
This is in contrast to nationwide injunctions issued by a single district court. How does a single district court, in a single district in a single state have the power to issue a nationwide injunction? It doesn’t typically have jurisdiction over most of the parties involved. The use of nationwide injunctions had grown enormously over the last decade or two, and became increasingly controversial by its overreach, esp in suits pushed by the left. Vacatur of regulations subject to the APA is more defensive in nature, merely preventing the government from imposing non-compliant regulations.
Joe Biden's attempt to mainstream transgenderism in education by claiming that "gender identity" was the same as sex was effectively killed by a federal judge. Judge Danny C. Reeves (G. W. Bush appointee) ruled the Department of Education's gambit was unconstitutional, arbitrary and capricious, exceeded the agency's authority, and was an “attempt to bypass the legislative process and completely transform Title IX.”
The Biden administration issued the new interpretation of Title IX in April, removing the clear and easy-to-follow interpretation put in place by the Trump administration; //
Even though the new interpretation did not specifically address the issue of men claiming to be women so they could play women's sports, it implies that any educational institution doing so will face a federal investigation. //
The mission for Trump's Secretary of Education, before he locks the doors and turns out the lights at that department, is to eradicate all traces of this nonsense and fire everyone who worked on this travesty.
