The two religious kibbutzim near Gaza are Sa'ad and Alumim. Sa'ad did not suffer a single death or kidnapping. Hamas terrorists did not enter Sa'ad even though it was less than a mile from Kfar Aza, where Hamas killed 54 civilians and kidnapped 20 others. Twenty-six IDF soldiers were killed trying to liberate Kfar Aza.
In Alumim, the town's armed security prevented Hamas from killing or kidnapping any Israelis. Hamas then targeted the Thai workers in the fields, killing 22 of them and kidnapping four. It is reasonable to assume that Sa'ad had armed security similar to Alumim, and thus, Hamas decided not to attack. //
In conclusion, gun laws that allow for personal gun ownership with fewer restrictions certainly help residents protect their families and homes from an attack. However, if the residents do not believe in purchasing firearms, then those laws are meaningless. Thus, even if Israel had allowed all of its civilians to purchase and carry guns without a permit, it is unlikely that it would have prevented the atrocities of October 7 due to the demographics that Hamas targeted that day. In short, many politically conservative Israelis hope their leftist counterparts wake up one day and understand the need to protect themselves without relying on the IDF or the police. Even after October 7, it remains to be seen whether that will be the case.
To anyone familiar with Hamas' history, there is a greater chance of winning the lottery without purchasing a ticket than of Hamas both releasing all the hostages and abiding by all the terms of the peace deal.
The Hamas terrorist organization is an expert at delay tactics. Since Trump forced Israel to unilaterally halt its offensive operations in Gaza, Hamas will use the talks to delay as long as possible to allow it to regroup and rebuild its tunnels and defenses.
Hamas agreed to release all of the hostages as a delay tactic and to flatter Trump's ego. At best, Hamas will release most of the hostages, but there will be some hostages that Hamas claims it cannot locate. What remains to be seen is how much Trump really wants a Nobel Peace Prize and how long he will allow Hamas to stall the talks. The other question is how much patience Netanyahu has before he orders the IDF to finish the job. //
Trump likely thinks that when Hamas fails to abide by the terms of the peace deal, the entire world will have Israel's back in its effort to finish off Hamas.
However, if Trump does believe that, then he is wrong. When it becomes obvious that Hamas is not going to agree to the peace deal and the IDF resumes the war, Hamas will scream from the rooftops, "We agreed to release all the hostages and Israel failed to live up to the deal," and then like always, the international media will spread this lie far and wide and countries like Canada, Australia, France and the UK will call for the recognition of a Palestinian state all over again.
The Center Square reported Friday that “in the wake of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, thousands of social media posts appear to list politically conservative targets for assassination by the political left.” Some of the principal names that keep recurring on the left’s death wish lists are some of the most prominent critics of the transgender madness: Joe Rogan, JK Rowling, Ben Shapiro, and Matt Walsh, as well as President Donald Trump, Libs of TikTok’s Chaya Raichik, Elon Musk, and Andy Ngo.
JK Rowling pointed out what this bloodlust revealed about the left: “If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist. If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian. If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.”
Indeed. And that is exactly what the left is today. “Inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out,” quipped the late, great David Horowitz, and by now, it’s abundantly clear that they’re out. Totalitarians don’t care to debate their opponents, and in particular on the transgender issue, leftists likely know that they would lose, and lose resoundingly, any such debate. And so they want those whom they fear and hate to be silenced, and silenced for good. In a group that hates God and His creation and wants to reshape it to their own liking, moral considerations simply don’t enter into the equation.
If, however, the leftists who posted these hit lists thought they would terrorize their targets into silence, they were in for a disappointment. Like Rowling, Shapiro was defiant, saying: “We will never stop debating and discussing. We will never stop standing up for what America is and what she should be. And we will never let Charlie’s voice die.” //
Indeed, they cannot and must not, but they are counting on patriots to have a collective failure of courage, and to give up their resistance and submit to their evil agenda rather than put their lives on the line. In fact, in the struggle for human freedom, it was ever thus. That’s why Tom Paine wrote back in 1776 that “these are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”
That is also why the signers of the Declaration of Independence concluded that document with this: “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” Even then, like today, terror was the only tool that the forces of darkness had. In order for good to triumph over evil, men had to be willing to stand up to that terror and face it down.
And that is exactly what they did, because they knew that if they did not do so, the flame of liberty would be extinguished, and men would be condemned to slavery to tyranny, possibly for generations, until another generation arose that was willing to pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to preserve their freedom.
That was what at stake then, and that is what is at stake now.

Any organization can claim to be an expert on genocide and recruit enough members committed to the destruction of Israel to say that the Jewish state is guilty of it. A functional media would weed out such imposters. Unfortunately, our media is uninterested in vetting its headlines—or even retracting the items proven to be untrue. In the current climate, news consumers should be advised to assume that everything they hear about Israel is an op until proven otherwise. That includes New York Times front page stories like the fake famine picture they published in July.
As for genocide, it really did happen during the Gaza War. What transpired in southern Israel on October 7, 2023 was genocide. It was unusual in a way that the perpetrators accused the Jewish state of that of which they are guilty themselves. Avraham Russel Shalev of Kohelet Policy Forum recently wrote a paper concluding that:
Hamas’ October 7 attack constitutes genocide under international law. This conclusion rests on three interconnected pillars. First, the physical acts committed—the systematic killing of over 1,200 Israelis, accompanied by torture, sexual violence, and mutilations—satisfy the actus reus requirement of the Genocide Convention. Second, Hamas’ specific intent to destroy Israeli Jews is evident through multiple channels: its foundational ideology of eliminationist antisemitism, its decades-long systematic policy of incitement, its detailed operational planning for mass killing, and explicit statements by its leadership before and during the attack.
What distinguishes this case, however, is the third element: the immediate deployment of reverse genocide accusation against the victims.
This is what the media defenders of Gaza call “every accusation is a confession,” only they direct their venom against the Jews. The Jewish case is persuasive. Will the media ever give it a minute of their attention? //

When push came to shove, Thunberg ran away back to Europe instead of standing against what she falsely claims is a "genocide." She's not a revolutionary. She's just an attention-seeking fraud who wants to post selfies and get on television while not paying any cost for her radical activism. We've seen that dynamic play out many times, where Thunberg is "arrested" and released within hours. She's cosplaying.
The other part of this is that Israel was going to make her watch video of the October 7th attacks while in detention. Instead of facing the reality of what her Hamas buddies did, which just might push back on her narrative, she chose to flee at the first chance. That speaks to her complete lack of morality and authenticity. Even if one truly disagrees with how Israel is battling Hamas in Gaza, her complete obfuscation of Palestinian atrocities is the tell that Thunberg has no deep-seated belief about any of this.
A spokesman for the Israeli government summed the whole thing up nicely:
“This wasn’t humanitarian aid. It’s Instagram activism,” Israeli government spokesperson David Mencer said. “Meanwhile, Israel has delivered over 1,200 truckloads in the last two weeks. Not discussed in Lee's post is whether they have any right to be here in the first place. Someone's father committing a terror attack doesn't give his family magical immunity from being deported, just like anyone else who overstays a visa. Multiple press outlets, including Fox News, the Associated Press, CNN, the BBC, and other outlets, ran with a report early Sunday morning claiming Israeli forces randomly opened fire on civilians gathered to collect aid. Sourced by the "health officials" and "witnesses," the claim involved dozens being killed and "at least" 175 injured. //
At least 26 Palestinians were killed and at least 175 were wounded as they made their way to receive food in the Gaza Strip, according to health officials and witnesses.
Witnesses said Israeli forces fired on crowds around 1,000 yards away from an aid site run by the Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. A Palestinian journalist told the BBC that thousands of Palestinians had gathered near the aid site near Gaza's southern city of Rafah when Israeli tanks approached and opened fire on the crowd... //

A Palestinian official said on Monday that Hamas has agreed to a proposal by U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff for a Gaza ceasefire, only for an Israeli official to deny that the proposal was Washington's and add that no Israeli government could accept it.
Witkoff also rejected the notion that Hamas had accepted his offer for a hostage deal and a ceasefire in Gaza, telling Reuters that what he had seen was "completely unacceptable" and the proposal being discussed was not the same as his. //
Hamas won't tell the truth. They never tell the truth. They are terrorists. And Hamas could have a cease-fire at once: All they have to do is surrender, turn over all their weapons, and return every single hostage they still hold. They could do that today. That would end this war at a stroke, and Gaza could start rebuilding, in whatever form that rebuilding would take.
According to the footage, Rodriguez shot Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim in the back as they prepared to cross the street.
Lischinsky, identified as Decedent-2 in the affidavit, was declared dead at the scene. Milgrim, identified as Decedent-1 in the affidavit, was not killed immediately; Rodriguez shot her again as she attempted to crawl away, and then again after he stopped to reload his firearm. "Last night, she was attending an affair to figure out how to get more aid into Gaza," Milgrim told The Post. "The night she was killed, she was trying to help the situation – that's the irony."
There are as yet no details as to what's on offer, but we can assume there are both carrot and stick elements, and it's a safe bet that there won't be any late-night deliveries into Tehran of pallets loaded with American currency. //

Here's the thing, and I'm going to tell you: "Weaponizing" a nuclear device is generally used to mean putting it in an air-droppable bomb or making it fit on a missile. Iran doesn't have to do that, and Secretary Rubio, the president and the Pentagon certainly know this. All they have to do is assemble a device that goes "boom" when torched off, load it into an old tramp freighter with a skeleton suicide crew - these kinds of useful idiots are common enough in that part of the world - sail it into a darkened harbor some night and set it off. The target might be Haifa or Tel Aviv, or it might be New York. //
Whatever deal is struck, there is one thing we can rely on utterly, as long as Iran's current theocracy is in place: Whatever they agree to, they will lie about it. If they offer to stop enriching uranium, they will just try to move their enrichment facilities out of sight. If they agree to stop trying to produce a bomb, they will keep trying, but their efforts will be moved to some cave in the Alborz Mountains. Whatever they agree to, they will harbor no notions of actually keeping the agreement.
That's what they have done since 1979. That's what they always will do, as long as the mullahs are running Iran.

The only US production site for tritium is the DOE Savannah River Site in Aiken SC, just outside of Augusta GA.
I actually interviewed for a job there 35 years ago. I had to get a classified security clearance, and the FBI came to interview my parents and grandparents.
When I got there, there were multiple layers of security to go through, each guarded by serious looking gentlemen with machine guns.
My point is, plutonium is easy to get, compared to tritium. And if the mullahs are trying to make it, there is no civilian use.
