Understandable that Kamala's campaign would find it confusing to listen to a presidential candidate speak off the teleprompter for more than 0 seconds.

Actually, most "self-obsessed rich guys" are Democrats today because being a Democrat is much more lucrative, is less risky and creates much less friction. For anyone who is self-obsessed and chasing money and power, the choice is simple.
Being a Conservative, or even a classical liberal today, requires holding principles more important than their own self-interest. It requires personal responsibility, courage and sacrifice.
Any coward can be a woke regressive. That only requires the willingness to point the finger of blame anywhere but your own actions.
The Kamala Harris campaign has been editing press headlines and putting the fake versions in ads as a way to spread disinformation. That's according to a new report that found multiple instances of Google ads being manipulated without the consent of the various news organizations linked to the false headlines.

There is no doubt in my mind that this would be a major scandal if the Trump campaign were involved. Could you imagine the screams of "disinformation" and threatened lawsuits from press organizations? It'd be non-stop. Because it's Harris, though, it's no big deal. //

Yesterday, Sara Fischer of Axios threw a fit on CNN over “disinformation” and Elon Musk allowing Trump to “say whatever he wants.”
Today, she’s hand-waving away the Kamala Harris campaign editing press headlines in ads to spread disinformation.
Incredible.

A senior Department of Defense official linked to an organization that lobbies for the mullahs in Tehran has continued to hold the highest level of security clearance and visit the White House. //
Senior Department of Defense official Ariane Tabatabai participated in multiple meetings organized by the White House’s Presidential Personnel Office, which is responsible for recruiting and vetting scores of nominees across the government, visitor logs reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.
Tabatabai was at the White House just two months after Semafor revealed she was a key member of a secretive Iranian influence group, the Iran Experts Initiative, that reported back to Tehran’s foreign ministry, according to the logs. She participated in at least seven other White House gatherings throughout the end of 2023 and into April 2024, mixing with officials from a range of cabinet-level agencies. //
Her patron is none other than Phil Gordon, Kamala Harris's national security adviser.
In his resignation letter, Dunleavy criticized how the committee conducted its investigation into the Afghanistan withdrawal and the series of failures involved in the disaster. He describes the situation as "a diplomatic failure, an intelligence failure, a military failure, a strategic failure, a policy failure, a planning failure, a political failure, a truth-telling failure, and a moral failure" and stresses that each of these aspects needed thorough investigation.
The investigator explained that his efforts to look into key aspects of the withdrawal were “repeatedly stymied by our chief investigator and by senior staff,” which resulted in what he calls “investigative paralysis.”
Much of Dunleavy’s frustration stems from a reluctance to hold high-ranking officials accountable for their missteps – especially Vice President Kamala Harris, who he describes as a key decision-maker in the withdrawal. //
In his closing remarks, Dunleavy expressed concerns that the failures of the Afghanistan withdrawal have not been adequately addressed and fears these oversights will have serious consequences for future U.S. foreign policy.

The way the US corporate media transformed Kamala Harris from a national embarrassment to a transformative pioneer overnight -- without even pretending to care about anything that she thinks or believes -- is a powerful testament to how potent the science of propaganda is:

The article is titled, "The Reintroduction of Kamala Harris,” and like similar headlines and stories in newspapers, magazines and websites around the country, they try to depict a candidate who’s been reborn, who’s undergone a magical metamorphosis and gone from an ugly caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly. //
But here’s the reality: Nothing about this woman has changed in the past 22 days, not her record, not her cringe-inducing mannerisms, not her lack of accomplishments as vice president—not a single thing. Yet the media is seemingly in lockstep pumping out story after story about how exciting and competent she’s suddenly become. //

Also remember or for those who didn't know Time Magazine had Adolf Hitler on their cover in 1938 as "Man of the Year"!
Do you know what the thing is about principles, as opposed to politics? Principles are consistent. Principles, as opposed to politics, apply equally in all circumstances. That's why so few politicians, especially Democrats, have anything even remotely approaching principles; they are all about The Side.
As an example: If, say, a presidential candidate was virulently against requiring voters to show ID before casting a ballot, then they should be open to letting would-be voters enter a campaign rally without showing ID. Right?
Not if you're Kamala Harris. //
Now, let's go on record here: There's nothing wrong with making rally attendees show an ID to get in, especially when there is an RSVP list. That's a perfectly reasonable requirement, and in our modern world where one has to have a photo ID for almost every essential facet of life - ... //
This is especially true considering that there has already been an attempt on the life of a presidential candidate this year.
But it's the hypocrisy that galls. This is a woman who has been adamantly against voter ID requirements for years, and she makes up the most ridiculous reasons for her opposition. //
She is, as I have said and will keep saying, not only dishonest, but a hypocrite, and for those and many other reasons, she is utterly unqualified to be president.
While serving as California attorney general in 2016, Kamala Harris sent 11 California Department of Justice agents to raid the home of journalist and pro-life activist David Daleiden. Harris’ office seized Daleiden’s camera equipment and hard drives containing undercover videos allegedly exposing Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of aborted baby body parts. For eight years, much of Daleiden’s footage has been sealed and unseen until now.
In March of this year, Congress held a hearing on, “Investigating the Black Market of Baby Organ Harvesting,” which included footage subpoenaed from Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress (CMP). In May, the San Francisco District Court ruled that CMP cannot be prevented from releasing the subpoenaed footage, and on July 30, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R- Ga., released full, unedited versions of the footage as an addendum to the congressional hearing.
The release of these new videos allows Daleiden to continue his journalistic work that began in 2015, uncovering Planned Parenthood’s alleged participation in fetal organ trafficking. His latest videos include alleged admissions from Planned Parenthood employees about their “financial incentives” and their own graphic descriptions about the process for procuring late-term fetuses to sell.
Harris is entirely a media-born creation on order from the Democrat Party. The press is doing its absolute best to prop her up, destroying what credibility they have left in the process. She is wholly artificial. She is a mask worn by people behind the scenes, just like Biden was. The only reason Harris is there is that she happened to be in the right place at the right time on multiple occasions. //

I love it. Great line: "The Plastic Candidate!"
But I'm going to borrow from your idea a bit & hopefully improve upon it. Since Harris has talked about how much she hates petroleum & so-called fossil fuels, calling her a "Plastic Candidate" is probably a bit misleading since plastics are actually made from petroleum. So, Kamala Harris is actually "The Paper Straw Candidate." For all of the reasons you mentioned, Kamala Harris is totally fake. But even worse she disintegrates under pressure, just like one of those super annoying paper straws that are being forced on us more & more often. And just like a paper straw, Kamala is an even worse replacement for something that was already made of something fake. The left wants us to believe that we will like paper straws because they tell us that we'll like them. And they tell us that annoying paper straws will somehow single-handedly save the environment. That's just like Kamala on both counts: "You will like her, or else" & she will single-handedly save the environment from imminent disaster.

It’s a good thing President Trump’s team has all of this archived for future use. They can’t erase Stolen Valor just by cleaning a website.
I noticed they have whitewashed Wikipedia by removing all references to this ass taking leave of his Minnesota National Guard position to teach in Red China, that contract had to be at least a year. No mention of getting married on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre or honeymoon in Red China. Also no mention of his at least 30 trips to Red China.
There’s a serious problem with this guy, he shouldn’t get near classified information.

My husband had a security clearance for 40 years and he said last night that any of those trips to China would have been a hard NO on getting the clearance in the first place and he'd have been let go from his brand new job 40 years ago. That this guy could be the Vice-President is scary.
Julin would go on to explain that the proper procedure was for Walz to come to him to request authorization to retire. Instead, he went around Julin and found someone further up the chain of command to back his play. That left his unit high and dry as they were fully expecting him to be there to help lead on the deployment.

There are lies, damned lies, and government statistics — and maybe none is more damnable than the official unemployment rate which is half the actual rate, according to Rasmussen. Worse, the number of Americans who are neither retired nor employed is more than four times higher than July's official rate of 4.3%. //
Rasmussen surveyed nearly 9,000 American adults and found that in July the percentage of Americans who are unemployed and looking for work — this is the number that the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) should report each month — was 8.4%. The BLS reported a rosy 4.3% unemployment rate last month, up from June's equally imaginary 4.1%.
From there, things only get worse. Because under Bidenomics, of course, they do.
One in four adult Americans is retired, which is nice for them. Fifteen percent say they're entrepreneurs (that can be anything from driving an Uber to launching a Silicon Valley startup), and just under 30% are employed by a private company.
Nearly one in 10 work for the government at one level or another. //
That means the percentage of Americans who could be working and perhaps would really like to be working but either can't find work or have given up finding work is 18.1%. That's more than four times the official unemployment rate.
It also means that the 45% of Americans who do work in the private sector are, in one way or another, supporting the 55% who don't, can't, or won't work.
First off, the idea that the first inkling that Walz got of mobilization was a press release from the National Guard Bureau is ludicrous. The unit command group would have received a warning order, or WARNORD, months before the official notification. What is instructive is that in March, Walz told everyone that he intended to deploy with his battalion. For Walz to retire in May, his retirement request would have already been submitted. He not only abandoned his men, he lied to his constituents.
In short, neither of the newfound excuses for Walz is operable. He didn't retire from the National Guard to run for office because a) there was no requirement that he do so and b) because his campaign said he would deploy to Iraq with his unit, and the campaign would go on. He did know his unit would deploy to Iraq because it was public knowledge in March and the decision by the Pentagon to call up his unit would have been made months earlier. //

How Walz’s career survived the DUI says there is more to this than meets the eyes and ears of the sheeple.
Vance on X: “I thought the reporters traveling with Kamala might be a little lonely given that she never answers questions from them, so I figured I’d come say hello and check out my new plane while I was at it.”
The rally was held at a hangar, and people had to ride in shuttle buses (yellow school buses) from the parking area to the hangar. The problem was, there were no signs telling them where to board shuttle buses upon return, and since the hangar was next to a UPS facility, by the time the rally ended there were UPS trucks everywhere, blocking the buses. According to attendee Josiah Lippincott it was utter chaos.
Where Vance was the ultimate volunteer, choosing a service he knew would result in deployment to Iraq, Walz approached his enlistment to get benefits and improve his chances for professional advancement. When Vance was ordered to Iraq, he went. When Walz, the senior noncommissioned officer in his battalion, was ordered to Iraq, he quit and left his men high and dry.
Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is being accused of cowardice and lying about his service record while he was serving in the Minnesota National Guard before his time as governor. In a letter to the editor of the West Central Tribune dated November 2, 2018, retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr alleged that Walz lied or embellished his service record and shirked his duty as the senior enlisted leader of a Minnesota National Guard unit as it was about to be deployed to Iraq in 2005. //
When Walz and his battalion received warning orders that he, along with the battalion, would need to prepare for activation and mobilization for deployment to Iraq in early 2005, Walz committed the ultimate sin. He quit on his soldiers. //
His official retirement document states, SOLDIER NOT AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE. //

There is no evidence that Donald Trump faked a disability to dodge the draft. That allegation has floated around and was investigated in detail by the New York Times. As Hasan was one of the loud voices pushing the debunked Russia Hoax, I wouldn't expect him to be particularly persuaded by the truth. But, arguendo, let's concede that a friendly doctor got Trump out of the draft after his student deferments ran out in 1972. By 1972, American involvement in the Vietnam War was running down. Trump's birthday is June 14, giving him a lottery number of 113. The highest lottery number called up in Trump's year of eligibility was 95. //

And let’s not forget that after being shot and shot at Trump’s gotten right back up and gone right back out there, while knowing for a fact that the agency that is supposed to have his back is at best case incompetent for the job.
Walz didn’t even get to the point where he might get shot at before he cut and ran.
According to his official Report of Separation and Record of Service, he re-enlisted for six years on September 18th, 2001. However, in his response he says that he re-enlisted for four years, conveniently retiring a year before his battalion was deployed to Iraq. Even if he had re-enlisted for four years following Sept.11, his retirement date would have been September 18th, 2005. Why then did he "retire" on May 16th, 2005, before his supposed four-year enlistment was up? And he makes it sound like he "retired" a year before his battalion deployed to Iraq; when in reality he knew when he "retired" that the battalion would be deployed to Iraq.
Tim Walz is an American coward, plain and simple. He betrayed his word, his contract; he betrayed his men. He committed the ultimate act of betrayal, and that is irrefutable. It is beyond offensive to those of us who not only served our country but who had the honor and privilege to serve with our brothers and sisters in combat. //

Well said. Having never served, I won't accuse Walz of cowardice. That is for veterans like the writer above, not the likes of me. However, remember this. If Walz, as the senior enlisted in his unit, was willing to abandon his troops, and his responsibilities to them, for personal gain (Congress), what isn't he willing to do for personal gain?
As it turned out, on Wednesday, both JD Vance and Kamala Harris were arriving at the airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Once again, Harris needed help to buff out her crowd by having a popular musician at her event, Bon Iver.
But when Vance arrived, he skewered Harris' effort to avoid reporters but good. He walked over to where Air Force Two was and delivered a great shot.
Vance joked, "It's going to be my plane in a few months."
Then he said, "I also thought you guys may get lonely" because Kamala Harris "doesn't answer questions from reporters and hasn't in 17 days." He asked them if the Harris team had given them any explanation for her avoiding the media. He said he thought it would be good if she took questions rather than running a campaign from a basement and with a teleprompter. Then he smiled and thanked them.
His tactic worked. One reporter asked what he wanted to hear from Harris. Vance responded he wanted to hear what she wanted to do in the office and why her positions have all flip-flopped. He said she pretended to be a tough-on-crime prosecutor but then was for defunding the police and opening the border.
Vance finished by saying it was "disgraceful" how she was blowing them off, as Harris was avoiding the media with her motorcade pulling away behind Vance.
