Joe Rogan playing a flashback to Trump's appearance on "The View" when he was considering running for president back in 2011. //
Rogan talks about the "180" this was from "the machine's" effort to go after him now. They loved him until he got in the way of their power and control.
It's an astonishing change and, quite frankly, frightening evidence of the power of the machine and how it can flip the thoughts of people who fall for the propaganda. Just as they turned Trump into Hitler for people who never thought that before, they are now trying to turn Kamala Harris, who is part of a failed administration with no achievements, into some kind of inspirational candidate and ignore all the negatives. //

Twenty years ago, Donald Trump ran through New Your City with the Olympic Torch and was praised by all. In 1986 Donald Trump, along with Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali was given the "Ellis Island Award" in NYC for patriotism, tolerance and brotherhood. The leftist elite and legacy media all turned on Donald Trump when he came out as a Conservative and ran for President of the United States.

He was beloved by many people. Rappers would name-drop him in songs, politicians on both sides lined up to beg him for money. Then he decides to run for president as a Republican and they all turned him into Hitler overnight. He didn’t change, they all did.

I am well old enough to remember Donald Trump saying this same stuff back in the early 80's. He warned the government! He's never changed. The democrat party changed - they're no longer the party of my mother or even of my youth.
Nextcloud AIO provides a local backup solution based on BorgBackup. These backups act as a local restore point in case the installation gets corrupted. By using this tool, backups are incremental, differential, compressed and encrypted – so only the first backup will take a while. Further backups should be fast as only changes are taken into account.
It is recommended to create a backup before any container update. By doing this, you will be safe regarding any possible complication during updates because you will be able to restore the whole instance with basically one click.
The restore process should be pretty fast as rsync is used to restore the chosen backup which only transfers changed files and deletes additional ones.

Chicago businesses are boarding up because of the DNC.
Isn’t it funny how the party of tolerance and joy comes to town and everyone has to brace for violence?

It's a sign of the times when the Democrats plan a convention, and everyone knows months in advance there will be violence. It's also a sign of who they are—you didn't see this going on in advance of the successful GOP convention in Milwaukee in July.
The only real question left is: how bad will it be?
The Harris-Walz campaign team likes to term JD Vance "weird." But that says everything about how out of touch they are with the American people.
Vance was born into meager circumstances with a mother who was an addict, and he was raised by his grandmother. He worked his way up from that to join the Marines, finish college in two years, go to Yale Law School, become an editor of the Yale Law Journal, write a famous book Hillbilly Elegy, clerk for a federal judge, get into the tech industry and investing, then become a senator. He is walking, talking evidence of the American Dream. I want someone who understands how to get to the American Dream, not someone who has been fighting to drive the country to the far left and would destroy that dream.

The picture shows my home-built digital clock, using Nixie tubes for readout. In contrast to most other nixie clocks being built these days, this clock does not use any transistor or IC for controlling and driving the tubes. Instead, the driving logic is built from trigger tubes, together with resistors, capacitors and silicon diodes. A video is on youtube.
This project is a followup to a similar clock I built between 2002 and 2007, documented on its own page. That clock used regular NE-2 style neon lamps as logic elements. Unfortunately, after a while, as these lamps aged, the clock became unreliable and unusable.
The new clock uses trigger tubes, of the МТХ-90 type (that's in Cyrillic characters; transliterated to Latin script it's MTH-90), which are widely available as "new old stock" on Ebay. Trigger tubes are essentially regular neon lamps with an extra "trigger" electrode, which can be used to ignite them. However, in this circuit I don't use the trigger electrode.
The above shows my home-built digital clock. It uses Nixie-tubes for readout. In contrast to most other nixie-clocks being built these days, my clock does not use any transistor or IC for driving the tubes. Instead, the driving logic is built from neon lamps, together with resistors, capacitors and silicon diodes.
The project started in 2002, when our university library was selling old outdated or otherwise superfluous books, and I very cheaply bought the book "Electronic Counting Circuits" by J.B. Dance, published in 1967, and apparently only ever lent three times by our library, all in 1973. It described how neon lamps can be used as logic elements in a ring counter, exploiting the fact that they need a higher voltage to ignite (the striking voltage) than to stay lit (the maintaining voltage):

Labor often begins or rapidly intensifies in the middle of the night. This is because an essential chemical for early labor is melatonin [1]. The dark calm of the night is the ideal birth environment, the perfect setting to bring a baby into the world. Given the chance to progress through labor uninterrupted, a woman will continue to crave a calm, den-like setting. But if labor is disrupted by some kind of stress, labor may actually slow until the woman is in a safe, calm space again [2].
That’s why the ideal environment for labor is a dim room, free of harsh blue lights [3]. Quiet, calm music or silence should fill the space. Some research indicates that some kinds of music can decrease anxiety during labor, while other research finds there is no difference compared to silence [4]. Notably, research does not find that calm music increases anxiety, pain perception, or length of labor, so playing your favorite calming playlist is worth trying if you enjoy music! Other women might prefer the repetition of prayers, counting, or mantras while laboring.
On Friday in North Carolina, what Harris was proposing was $1.7 trillion in giveaways/spending which would cause more inflation, as well as price controls which would further destroy the economy. She doesn't understand (or care) what she did wrong the first time and she's promising to do it again (make it even worse). Are we supposed to believe that corporations suddenly decided to be more greedy under her and Biden more than Trump? //
All Harris cares about is making promises to get elected, damn the consequences of those promises.
A 2019 video of a Kamala Harris campaign event made the rounds on the internet Friday night after the Democrat presidential hopeful unveiled some of her economic proposals, including her apparent desire for Soviet-style price controls on groceries.
During her ill-fated run for president, the now vice president said she could lower prices on drugs simply by having the government seize patents from pharmaceutical companies and “take over.” That’s not how a free-market economy is supposed to work, but the giddy Harris didn’t care:

Even CNN—normally a reliable mouthpiece for the DNC—jumped in with two separate segments savaging Kamala's "price gouging" proposals, which seem to come straight out of Venezuela.
We'll start with the network's Economics and Political Commentator Catherine Rampell, who went off on Kamala's Marxist ideas for almost a full two and a half minutes:
...first of all, nobody can explain what price gouging means. It's like that old line about pornography; I know it when I see it. In the sense that what does it mean to have an excessive price or an excessive profit margin? That seems to be shorthand for a price or a profit margin that bugs me, that seems too high. //
It's not going to be markets, it's not going to be supply and demand that's determining how much your grocery store charges you for milk or for eggs. It's going to be some bureaucrat in DC, which seems totally unworkable, first of all.
We've seen this kind of thing tried in lots of other countries before-- Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union, etcetera. It leads to shortages, it leads to black markets, you know, [and] plenty of uncertainty…
