Our masters at the CDC finally said what we always knew: You can treat COVID-19 like any other respiratory virus.
What did Leslie say in August 2021? “Today’s [coronovirus] variants are just common cold variants.”
The CDC announced that you don’t have to isolate yourself for five days after you test positive for COVID-19 no matter what.
Look, don’t test yourself unless you have to.
Chinese researchers isolated and mapped the virus that causes Covid-19 in late December 2019, at least two weeks before Beijing revealed details of the deadly virus to the world, congressional investigators said, raising questions anew about what China knew in the pandemic’s crucial early days.
Documents obtained from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by a House committee and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show that a Chinese researcher in Beijing uploaded a nearly complete sequence of the virus’s structure to a U.S. government-run database on Dec. 28, 2019.
Chinese officials at that time were still publicly describing the disease outbreak in Wuhan, China, as a viral pneumonia “of unknown cause” and had yet to close the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, site of one of the initial Covid-19 outbreaks.
China only shared the virus’s sequence with the World Health Organization on Jan. 11, 2020, according to U.S. government timelines of the pandemic.
Whether the sample that leaked was “natural” or had a lab-crafted genetic sequence, it is clear that experiments involving the virus were occurring in China. The Chinese were studying the samples in a facility that lacked the proper biocontainment controls to do so safely.
And while some may bitterly cling to the “natural origin” option, I simply will note that the coronavirus has “rare” genome sequences that are hallmarks of genetic manipulation.
"The only thing we were lucky with COVID is that the death rate was 0.3%, which was still a lot of people and I don't want to downplay that," Paul said on Newsmax's "National Report." "But they're working with viruses in the lab that have 5% to 50% mortality. If a virus escapes with 50% mortality, it'll be worse than the Black Plague in the 14th century when a third of Europe died.
"If a third of America dies or a third of the world dies, there will not be potable water. There won't be chlorine in the water. There won't be the ability to feed people; there will be war and rioting in the streets, and there won't be enough food and the society would descend into chaos if half the people died on the planet." //
Paul said that although the United States has stopped funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology, "there is still funding going on in other parts of China."
"To my knowledge, there's still subcontracts that go through American universities to military research in China," he said. "So, all of the money we send to China should stop. May not make them stop doing this crazy research, but that should stop."
Beyond that, there are "at least 12 different laboratories in the United States doing gain of function research," Paul said. //

The CDC Knew About the COVID Vaccine and Risk of Myocarditis, but Forgot to Send the Memo – RedState
The Epoch Times exclusively obtained an alert from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which was supposed to be issued to state and local officials, showing that the connection between the COVID mRNA vaccines and myocarditis was indeed valid. The alert was dated May 21, 2021, months after VAERS reported its first finding of a link between the vaccines and heart inflammation in December of 2020. //
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) prepared to alert state and local officials to an emerging connection between heart inflammation and COVID-19 vaccines, but ultimately did not send the alert, according to a new document obtained by The Epoch Times.
All four COVID-19 vaccines that are or have been available in the United States can cause the heart inflammation, or myocarditis, according to studies, experts, and agencies like the CDC. The first cases were reported shortly after the vaccines became available in late 2020. //
But this alert from the CDC was never sent out, even after cases documenting instances of myocarditis poured in and were documented on the VAERS database. Young men 18-30 and men over 55 appeared to be particularly at risk. Much of the coverage from Israeli studies, where the majority of the male population was vaccinated and boosted, and by the U.S. Department of Defense first showed a growing concern but then changed their tune, downplaying the risk as "mild."

The U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee (E&C) has revealed that the Chinese government not only knew of the COVID-19 virus weeks before admitting its existence, but that Chinese researchers had already sequenced the virus's genome. The genome, of course, not only yields clues as to the origins of the virus but may also show genetic relationships to known viruses.
The genetic work was done in the late fall/early winter of 2019, two weeks before the Chinese government admitted the existence of the virus. //

Given what we know now, a coronavirus pandemic that emerged out of Wuhan more than three years ago seems less like a coincidence. Yet Daszak of EcoHealth has been the most vocal lab-leak theory denier. Among his efforts to shut down any public discussion of the lab-leak theory, the most infamous one was that he organized a group of scientists to co-sign a letter published by Lancet, denouncing the lab-leak theory without disclosing his conflict of interest (his intimate collaboration with the WIV). //
The leaked Project DEFUSE documents are a reminder, according to Chan, who commented on X, “This is a pattern of dishonesty. Clearly, we cannot take the word of conflicted parties. It is urgently important that the public and investigators gain full access to all EcoHealth documents relating to WIV research.” //
Democrats and corporate media’s collective silence and the lack of curiosity about the virus’s origin are likely driven by two reasons. First, they cannot blame the origin of Covid on Trump because the NIH funding occurred under former President Obama. Any investigation of Covid’s origin will inevitably lead to the questionable conduct of Anthony Fauci, former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, and his allies at the NIH, from underwriting the WIV’s gain-of-function research to suppressing the lab-leak theory since the beginning of the pandemic.
Second, the Democrats and corporate media’ conduct during the pandemic has shown that they were only interested in taking advantage of a crisis to grab more power and expand their control over the country and the American people. Public health prevention is their last concern. Therefore, it is up to concerned citizens and independent media to keep searching for truth and demanding accountability.

- LA General is not seeing COVID pneumonia ICU admissions or intubations
- LA General no longer performs COVID tests on admission
- Other hospitals in the county continue to COVID test on admission, leading to artificially inflated COVID hospitalization rates
- COVID is not going to go away; it is now an endemic virus and "does not distinguish itself from other upper respiratory viruses"
- There is community COVID spread because COVID is a winter virus
- COVID levels at LA General are "considerably" below 2022 and with much milder disease
Via Scientific Reports: Infectivity of exhaled SARS-CoV-2 aerosols is sufficient to transmit covid-19 within minutes. The case for continued masking and improved ventilation seems inarguable. The abstract:
Exhaled SARS-CoV-2-containing aerosols contributed significantly to the rapid and vast spread of covid-19. However, quantitative experimental data on the infectivity of such aerosols is missing. Here, we quantified emission rates of infectious viruses in exhaled aerosol from individuals within their first days after symptom onset from covid-19.
Six aerosol samples from three individuals were culturable, of which five were successfully quantified using TCID50. The source strength of the three individuals was highest during singing, when they exhaled 4, 36, or 127 TCID50/s, respectively.
Calculations with an indoor air transmission model showed that if an infected individual with this emission rate entered a room, a susceptible person would inhale an infectious dose within 6 to 37 min in a room with normal ventilation.
Thus, our data show that exhaled aerosols from a single person can transmit covid-19 to others within minutes at normal indoor conditions.
