It’s not just a necklace around her throat (one that she's worn before), it’s an albatross, as the NY Post so aptly put it:
The border crisis has been an albatross around Kamala Harris’ neck — and now her jewelry is too.
They were so intent on trolling Vance, they didn't get that they were suggesting that it was in fact political and throwing the restaurant under the bus. Plus, it was silly because it also brought back up the real story from that visit in August.
It doesn't make Kamala look good, it makes her look petty and mean girl-ish.
The Trump War Room rapid response account was right there to blow their game.

These weren't regular diners. As we reported back then, the real regular diners were upset when they said they were made to leave just before Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and their whole entourage descended upon the restaurant.
What the video above and the news reports didn't say was that the people besides campaign staff, press and restaurant workers were invited guests/Kamala supporters and volunteers.

"The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projects that deficit spending for fiscal 2024 will reach a staggering $1.9 trillion. This comes on top of the $7 trillion added to the federal debt under Biden, bringing us to the highest level of indebtedness in our nation’s history, surpassing the previous high during World War II.
"Biden’s insatiable deficit spending has not only lit the fuse on record inflation but has resulted in the highest interest rate hikes in a quarter century. The cost just to service our national debt has increased by $540 billion, or 153%, since Biden took office. Those net interest expenses represented 9% of federal revenue in 2021 and are projected to double to 18% in 2024 and rise to 23% in 2034.
"Massive federal spending along with failed economic policies under unified Democratic control of government caused inflation to climb to 9.1% in June 2022. Inflation is still sticking at levels well above the Federal Reserve’s target for reducing interest rates.
"In total, prices have risen nearly 20% since Biden became president, forcing families to pay more than $17,000 more per year, or $1,400 per month, for the same goods and services. Sadly, inflation has grown faster than income over the last three years, reducing real wages by 4% since January 2021."
"Op-Ed, Washington Examiner: Biden’s Cruel Economy," Washington Examiner, July 11, 2024.
"This Survey Says Consumers Are Fed Up. The annual poll from Forrester Research showed a third consecutive year of rising customer dissatisfaction with brands whose price hikes, smaller-sized products, lower quality services, and annoying chatbots."

She finally sat down to take (but not answer) questions, first with CNN and now MSNBC. While we didn't learn much about her policy positions, the American people learned an awful lot about how much of a vapid, empty suit she actually is.
The more she does these things, the more people are going to realize that, which is why she doesn't want to do them.
But she's in a Catch-22 at this point. The more she continues to resist the pressure that is put on her by non-Fox News outlets to put some answers on the record, the worse she's going to look in the eyes of voters who want to know more but who aren't being given the opportunity thanks to her media avoidance strategy, which is still largely in place.
Kamala Harris boxed herself into this corner and now she can't get out of it. It's too delicious for words to watch the unraveling, and the best part about it is that it is Democrat-friendly news organizations like the Times that are bringing it on. More please. //

That's her real thoughts there, all the rest is just "I need to get elected" window dressing. This will not go over well and it invites even more people to come. Listen as she says they "deserve to have a system that works."

There is a simple reason they did it and no one gets it. The open border was simply a thumb in the eye of everyone who voted for Trump and supported the security of a border wall. That's it. That's how childish this group is that is running our countryright now. //

Whenever states try to limit illegal immigration, democrats (and their lapdog judges) tell us immigration is under federal jurisdiction, and we have to capitulate to their enabling of foreign invasion.
When President Trump sought to enforce immigration laws, the democrats responded with "sanctuary" cities and states, telling us local jurisdictions were to decide.
The judges let them have it both ways, both ways encouraging invasion, and now we have hundreds of thousands admitted criminals, many convicted or accused murderers and rapists, roaming free and putting us all (except the democrats behind their security barriers) at risk.
In response to a shouted reporter's question, her remarks at the border consisted of this less than 30-second sound bite, a word salad that included something about the agents "rightly need[ing] support to do their job"--something that the Biden/Harris administration has refused to do, and which the border agents union has debunked as false: //

Especially when Zelensky said this:
And now, through a lot of challenges — Ukraine and the United States. And, of course, I want to discuss with you, I think, where we are together. I think we have common view that the war in Ukraine has to be stopped, and Putin can't win, and Ukrainians have to prevail. And I want to discuss with you the details of our plan.
Why would he feel the need to do that? Why would he say something like that? //
But Brandon, he also met with Harris and Biden," some might say.
Well... yeah. Of course, he did. He needed to secure another $8 billion for his country. Biden and Harris both wanted to be seen doing that. Harris especially wanted to be seen doing that. She did laps back and forth on the White House balcony with Zelensky to make it look like she was deep in foreign policy talks.
Does this mean Zelensky has confidence in Harris winning? Not necessarily. Keep in mind, he has to do this. This is the monkey dancing for his banana. He's willing to help Harris craft her illusion for it.
But he didn't have to meet with Trump. He did it because he felt compelled to.
And that should worry Democrats.

HARRIS: And assistance to state and local governments around transit dollars, and looking holistically at the connection between that and housing, and looking holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can create for local and state governments to actually engage in planning in holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing. //
It's not that she's slurring and speaking gibberish like Joe Biden does. It's that Harris strings together a series of words without any care as to whether she's making a salient point. //
She was asked to explain her "opportunity economy." Instead of providing hard details as to what exactly that is and how she's going to accomplish it, the vice president starts repeating the word "holistic" while talking about how transit dollars connect with housing. //
Nothing she's saying makes any sense. It's just words vomited up by someone who hasn't even bothered to think through even the most basic policy positions.
And that is, in a nutshell, the Harris campaign. There is no there, there. It is a manufactured facade run by a cabal of Democratic Party insiders who have no perception of what life in America is actually like. //

House Speaker Mike Johnson demanded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recall Ukraine's US ambassador in a sharply worded letter made public Wednesday.
I demand that you immediately fire Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova.
As you have said, Ukrainians have tried to avoid being “captured by American domestic politics,” and “influencing the choices of the American people” ahead of the November election. Clearly that objective was abandoned this week when Ambassador Markarova organized an event in which you toured an American manufacturing site. //
Support for ending Russia’s war against Ukraine continues to be bipartisan, but our relationship is unnecessarily tested and needlessly tarnished when the candidates at the top of the Republican presidential ticket are targeted in the media by officials in your government.
These incidents cannot be repeated. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, and I trust you will take immediate action. //
Speaker Johnson is correct. The Ukrainian ambassador either knowingly or unknowingly embroiled her president and her nation's struggle for self-determination in a US presidential campaign on the side of the probable loser. Zelensky should take the "L," fire his ambassador, apologize, and get Hillary Clinton to make him a huge red button labeled "RESET." //

I don't think that Zelensky was misled here. He made a conscious choice to criticize the Republican candidates and then allowed himself to be flown at U.S. taxpayer expense to an appearance that was basically a Democrat campaign photo op. He did this on purpose, because he views the Republican ticket as less reliable for his country's interests. He wants Harris because Harris is Biden 2.0, but somehow dumber.
In short, he's willing to saddle Americans with four or eight more years of catastrophic misrule if that's what it takes to protect his country's interests. I respect his view on that, since I prefer to look out for my own country's interests over Ukraine -- but it doesn't mean that I have to accept his choice. I'd rather see Ukraine completely disappear than suffer through another four years of Democrat evil.
Why? Because my family is more important than the entirety of Ukraine.

Violent crime is up, not down, under Kamala Harris — but as usual, the Fake News isn't telling the whole story
Violent crime hasn't "dropped," as the Fake News insists.
When Kamala took office, the FBI changed how it collects crime data. As a result, they're missing data from nearly a third of the nation's law enforcement agencies — including from many of the most violent cities, such as Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, and New Orleans. //
A much more accurate picture emerges using data from the DOJ's National Crime Victimization Survey, which shows crime rates remain WAY UP under Kamala — throwing a dagger straight through the heart of claims to the contrary by Democrats and their Fake News allies.
FACT: Violent crime is up 37% between 2020 and last year.
- Rape is up 42%.
- Robbery is up 63%.
- Assault is up 34%.
- Violent crime (excluding simple assault) is up 55%.
- Domestic violence is up 32%.
- Stranger violence is up 61%.
- Violent crime (with an injury) is up 10%.
- Violent crime (with a weapon) is up 56%.
- Motor vehicle theft is up 42%.
So they really think endorsements from a "commie" and a "warmonger" are good things, that's what they're telling us? That tells us something all right, that when it comes to keeping the establishment candidate they will do anything, throw under any principle or ideology, to keep the oligarchy in power. Not to mention the execrable Lincoln Project endorsing Harris.
What an ad for Trump that is. When all the bad come together, you know to vote for the other side. //

"I'm still on the left," Sanders says, while Cheney says he's still "on the right," as they play poker together. "But if we can agree on Trump," Sanders declares. "It means something big," Cheney replies.
That's the thing about this election. Trump broke politics. These corporatist dipwads may be on "opposite" sides, but are they really? And though there may be strange bedfellows among them, have they checked out the GOP lately with RFK and Trump? Tulsi? Joe Rogan? The age of one size fits all party politics may be coming to a close. God, I hope so. Maybe we'll get back to debating ideas and policies again instead of taking the lazy way out and destroying one another personally for party gain.
Zelensky arrived in Pennsylvania on Monday, a hotly-contested election battleground state, courtesy of a U.S. taxpayer-funded C-17 Globemaster. What followed looked and sounded much more like a campaign stop than a diplomatic event, leaving onlookers to wonder exactly what the real purpose was. //
Vladimir Putin was never going to start a broader war with NATO because he knew he would lose. The Russian military is largely antiquated, poorly trained, and even more poorly led. He invaded Ukraine under Joe Biden for the same reason he invaded it under Barack Obama. Namely, to seize territory he sees as ethnically Russian. There is no larger plan for world domination if for no other reason than the reality that such a plan would be impossible to carry out.
Regardless, what Zelensky said and did on Monday is simply insane. He flew over to the United States at the behest of the Biden-Harris administration to trash their political opponents in a battleground state. //
Is Zelensky going after Trump and Vance because Democrats have prodded him to do so in exchange for taxpayer-funded support? Short of someone spilling the beans on what has been said behind the scenes, we may never know, but it sure seems like it. The appearance of impropriety is extensive, and the practical aspects of using government resources to have Zelensky come essentially campaign for Democrats six weeks before a major election is highly inappropriate. I get that there will be no impeachment inquiry into this, but in a government that wasn't eaten up with corruption, there would be. //

"The government is NOT supposed to be "providing" for me, it's supposed to get out of my way so I can provide for myself."
Spot on, well said.
A libertarian friend of mine once said to me that government has three jobs:
- Protect my borders.
- Deliver my mail.
- Stay the hell out of my business.
The current administration is failing at all three. Okay, I can give them credit for mail delivery, though I don't think they've done anything to help.
Here's a shot from the ABC News video at 2:00 minutes in. Check the second and third rows from the top. You see in the second row from the top, starting from the left, there are seven people. Those same seven people are then repeated in the third row, starting from the middle. //
So perhaps Harris or Oprah would like to explain what was going on here with the people being repeated? Did Harris not have enough people to fill out the spaces? //

Cut and paste below in answer to every left-wing article. It drives the liberals crazy.
This election is not about choosing the most likeable person.
We are voting between two vastly different ideologies.
I'm voting for:
The First Amendment and freedom of speech.
Secure borders and LEGAL immigration.
Election integrity to include mandatory voter ID. (Why would anyone vote against this?)
The Second Amendment and my right to defend my life and my family.
The police to be respected once again.
Law & order and an end to allowing protesters to trespass and burn our cities, destroying innocent small business. (Tim Walz)
Personal responsibility and the end of the revolving door where criminals are being put back on the street. (Kamala Harris)
Supreme Court Justice(s) to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.
Continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Keeping our jobs in America and not be outsourced all over the world to China, Mexico and other foreign countries.
Eliminating freebies given to all of the illegals and not looking after the needs of American citizens.
The military & the veterans who fought for this country.
Keeping men out of women's sports.
Peace in the Middle East.
Eliminating human/child trafficking.
Freedom of Religion.
The return of teaching math, history, and science instead of the indoctrination of our children.
I'm not just voting for one person.
I’m voting for Trump and the future of our country.

Ruhle dismissed that, "When you move to Nirvana, I'll be your next door neighbor. We don't live there."
She's not a journalist, she's an advocate for Harris. //
Please list how he is a "threat to democracy." Notice they don't say.
So, let's review who the "threat to democracy" is.
Maher suggests Trump doesn't concede elections. Trump challenged the results in 2020, but he also left when he didn't win the legal challenges. And they ignore the many Democrats who challenged the 2016 election, and all the efforts to try to stop Trump from taking office even though he had won. They forget about the riot during Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017, and they don't blame the Democrats for that riot.
Under Trump, we had more money in our pockets, low inflation, lower taxes, no new wars, more peace in the Middle East, and a more secure border. Trump didn't prosecute his opponents, he didn't try to kick them off ballots, and he didn't try to tie up his opponents in lawfare to cost them money. Trump wasn't the one who pushed aside the candidate that more than 14 million Democrats had voted for in the 2024 primary, and replaced him because they knew he was going to lose.
But Ruhle doesn't think we even should ask about that replacement or even what Harris knew when all that coup-ing went down.
