Kamala in 2021: I was the last person in the room to advise Biden before he made this momentous decision
Kamala in 2024: Trump made us do it.
Come on lol. //
This is astonishing.
First, the Biden-Harris administration extended the deadline for months anyway, so the point about the timing doesn't even make sense. They didn't comply with what had been worked out to begin with. As I said at the time, Biden's response was sociopathic. He said that he disagreed with people who said he should have started getting people out earlier. Because he didn't do that and pulled the military out before that, he then needed to surge more military in after everything blew up.
Second, are they really saying they failed and had such a disaster because they were too ignorant and had to depend on plans left over from the Trump administration? Was that what was necessary to get it done right? That's what they seemed to be admitting. How incompetent are they?
Plus, let's review what the Biden-Harris team previously claimed something about the withdrawal. Biden claimed it was an "extraordinary success." And Kamala Harris? She bragged that she was the last person in the room; she was "comfortable" with the decision: //
So, was Kamala lying then and/or is she lying now? Either way, she's lying and it's not a good look when, once again, they take no responsibility and try to blame someone else for their own actions. No one has been held accountable for any of the failures over Afghanistan, including the deaths of the 13 Americans, and the Biden-Harris team has refused to even speak with the families of the 13.
She is absolutely shameless.
JENNINGS: Well, I mean, I mean normally that's the case. She's had a very consequential vice presidency. She's cast, I think the most ever tie-breaking votes in the Senate of any vice president including on Joe Biden's specific economic program which drove the country into a massive inflation, inflationary spiral, which everyone is mad about.
And on top of that, she, in her own words, last person in the room with Joe Biden when they made the disastrous decision on Afghanistan. So I think in some cases you're right Van, the vice president is relatively inconsequential. She has been a consequential vice president, and I think the consequences have been bad. //
Harris defenders want to have it both ways. On the one hand, they want to tout her vice presidential experience as evidence of her qualifications to be president. On the other hand, they want to claim she did nothing and is responsible for nothing. Wouldn't that logically mean her "experience" is null and void then? //

If Trump trounces Kamala at the debate, get ready for some very strange things to happen before November. They’ve already sued him, prosecuted him, tried to kick him off the ballot, and swapped out his opponent. All of it could be just a preview of what’s to come.

He did not outline any of the "tricks" that he thinks might be pulled. But there is one obvious move they haven't played yet. If Kamala tanks badly, they may pull something big out, assuming they can. Read that again and recall how the b. hussein obama regime weaponized the DOJ/FBI and intell agencies against candidate and then President Trump, beginning in 2016.

Her senior spokesperson, Ian Sams — late of the White House Counsel's Office — was on CNN, and Kasie Hunt raised this very question to him, saying Harris has been part of the Biden administration for the last three-plus years. Hunt said working-class people are telling CNN, "More of them are with Donald Trump than Kamala Harris. Why — what is it about what you guys have been doing for the last three plus years that explains that?" she asked. His response was incredible.
Well, I think, again, we're trying to talk to the voters and explain this message," he said.
"We've got 60 days until the election. You know, we don't have time to sit around and think about why, over the last few years, certain things may have happened or may not have happened. We've got to go win an election."
It's "really different," he insisted. "It's a new way forward." Yeah, they have a new, communistic-like slogan. How is that different? //
It's also funny when Sams complains the media isn't giving her policies enough attention — when she herself won't even put them on her website to let the greater public even know what they are. The first thing that does pop up on the site is a request for money.
Republican Sen. Mike Lee (Utah) also weighed in on the BLS report, with thoughts similar to those of Trump:
This disastrous report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows what Americans have known for years: illegal immigration drives down the wages and jobs of American citizens, pushing out struggling families.
Statistics show that all of the job growth Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s claim to have created has not been for American citizens.
It has entirely gone to illegal immigrants whom they have imported at great harm to our country. It appears that the primary beneficiaries of the Biden-Harris economy are illegal aliens. > The ones shouldering the burden of their suppressed wages, inflated cost of living, and migrant crime are the American people.
This is the most disastrous presidency of the last 50 years, a great betrayal of our nation.
Not to nitpick with Sen. Lee, but a strong argument can be made that the Biden presidency is the worst in American history.

Over at Newsweek, Gad Saad wrote an incredible piece detailing this phenomenon:
It's this peripheral, emotive route of persuasion that the Harris campaign has embraced with the "positive vibes" campaign rooted in joy, excitement, and fun. Her managers are willfully hijacking your decision-making process by ensuring that you focus only on your affective, peripheral system.
It's deeply cynical, for the obvious reason that when selecting the leader of the free world, you should be engaging your cognitive system. A rational voter should evaluate the respective positions of the two candidates on fiscal policy, immigration policy, border security, foreign policy, criminal justice policy, commitment to the First and Second Amendments, the tension between the rights of biological women versus trans women (biological males), and their stance on meritocracy versus diversity, inclusion, and equity.
And yet, the great majority of voters are utterly oblivious about these issues, and prefer to love or hate a given candidate based on irrelevant affective processing. //
The Harris campaign doesn't want you thinking too hard about it. Don't explore the issues and really think about the solutions. Just feel the vibes, man. Just let the joy in and take it easy. Let it take you away. //
The Harris campaign is a lot more like a drug pusher in this regard, much like many a psychologist and back alley dealers are today. Feeling anxious? Take this pill. Feeling depressed. This prescription medication will give you the sensation of a normal life back. It's all just too much? Smoke this. Inject this right into your veins and you'll feel like you're flying. //
It's a dangerous thing to believe a politician who talks more about smiling than about policy. As the late great George Carlin once said:
"When fascism comes to America, it will not be in brown and black shirts. It will not be with jackboots. It will be Nike sneakers and smiley shirts. Smiley. Smiley." //

Harris is selling the wrong religion. There's a better one that has joy unspeakable, and full of glory
On Friday, Axios finally noticed that Harris has been purposely avoiding them.
With 60 days left in the race, and at the very moment she's presenting a different ideology than four years ago, Vice President Kamala Harris isn't getting subjected to the media scrutiny typical for a presidential nominee.
Why it matters: Harris is copying President Biden's self-protection media strategy — duck tough interviews and limit improvisational moments. //
I'm not sure what's more frustrating. That Kamala Harris doesn't even have an official policy platform yet and early voting is already starting, or that the supposed news outlets are trying to play the victim in the face of that. If only there was a massive "fourth estate" with enormous, worldwide influence that could report honestly on Harris and pressure her into doing interviews and press conferences.
If you are to believe Axios' framing, they and other mainstream news sources are helpless. There's just nothing they can do. //
Do you know what the press could do if they want to make Harris speak clearly and publicly about her policy positions? They could stop publishing anonymous sources like the one cited above. Every single time an anonymous "aide" is allowed to change a Harris position with no further details or explanation, her campaign is given every incentive to continue hiding the candidate behind a teleprompter.
The DOJ announced these actions 62 days out from the presidential election, a number which should not go unnoticed since the department has a longstanding policy to avoid announcing any investigative steps within 60 days of an election.
The first question that arises is: How bad are Kamala Harris’s internal polling numbers that they have to dust off the Russia boogeyman to try and sway an election? //
Disinformation from China and Iran is apparently okay. Russia? Not so much.
The DOJ wants voters to believe Russia is spreading disinformation, and Russia wants Trump to win. And, as a good red-blooded American, you must vote for Harris instead.
Putin, however, has said he’d prefer to see Biden defeat Trump. And that likely extends to Harris now as well, considering she would represent a de facto second term for him. //

I'm more concerned with Democratic interference in the election than Russia, but that's just me.
A CNN segment reported Wednesday on how Vice President Kamala Harris is using imagery of former President Trump’s border wall after condemning it for years as "useless" and un-American.
During CNN’s "Erin Burnett OutFront," host Erin Burnett spoke to CNN’s KFile senior editor Andrew Kaczynski about how Harris' past comments about Trump's border wall are coming back to "haunt" her.
Kaczynski found 50 instances of Harris slamming Trump's border wall, but now her campaign is featuring the border wall in ads. //
An incredulous Burnett asked about her newest ads, "She’s using his wall that he built to say, ‘Look at what I did’?"
TW: Well, I think first and foremost what we saw on October 7th was a horrific act of violence against the people of Israel. They have certainly, and the vice president said it, I've said it, have the right to defend themselves and the United States will always stand by that, but we can't allow what's happened in Gaza to happen. The Palestinian people have every right to life and liberty themselves. We need to continue, I think to put the leverage on to make sure we move towards a two state solution. I think we're at a critical point right now. We need the Netanyahu government to start moving in that direction. But I think those folks who are speaking out loudly in Michigan are speaking out for all the right reasons. It's a humanitarian crisis. It can't stand the way it is. And we need to find a way that people can live together in this and we’ve said it and continue to say it, getting a ceasefire with the return of the hostages and then moving towards a sustainable two state solution is the only way forward.
Now keep in mind, he knows he's talking to a Michigan audience, so he may be tailoring his response. But whatever his reason, what he said was bad.

“That Has to Stop”: Harris Denounces Unfettered Free Speech in 2019 CNN Interview
6:04 AM · Sep 4, 2024 //
In my book “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage,” I discuss how the Biden-Harris Administration has proven to be the most anti-free speech administration since John Adams. That includes a massive censorship system described by one federal judge as perfectly “Orwellian.”
In the CNN interview, Harris displays many of the anti-free speech inclinations discussed earlier. She strongly suggests that X should be shut down if it does not yield to demands for speech regulation.
What is most chilling is how censorship and closure are Harris’s default positions when faced with unfettered speech. She declares to CNN that such unregulated free speech “has to stop” and that there is a danger to the country when people are allowed to “directly speak to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight and regulation.” //
The “joy” being sold by Harris includes the promise of the removal of viewpoints that many on the left feel are intolerable or triggering on social media. Where Biden was viewed as an opportunist in embracing censorship, Harris is a true believer. Like Walz, she has long espoused a shockingly narrow view of free speech that is reflective of the wider anti-free speech movement in higher education. //

In their letter to ABC News, Harris campaign wrote in part:
"Vice President Harris, a former prosecutor, will be fundamentally disadvantaged by this format, which will serve to shield Donald Trump from direct exchanges with the Vice President."
5:10 PM · Sep 4, 2024 //
How will Harris be "fundamentally disadvantaged" by having complete control of the floor when she's asked a question? That makes no sense on its face. There is no disadvantage in not being interrupted during a debate.
Clearly, Harris wanted a food fight because she felt that would play into her hands. Part of it was no doubt about having another "I'm speaking" moment, a line she dropped on Mike Pence during the 2020 vice presidential debate. //
Putting that all together, Harris' demand for unmuted mics was not just about hoping Trump would interrupt her. It was about her wanting to interrupt him. Harris wanted to get into a back-and-forth with Trump in which she could cosplay as a good prosecutor, prodding him with yes and no questions to loaded accusations. With the mics staying muted, Harris can't set that up, and she's ticked off about it, as evidenced by her campaign's continued whining in the letter.
Every bit of the shameless coverage of this is based on accepting the premise that Trump and the Gold Star families broke the rules. What's the actual evidence for that, though? Because while we keep hearing about the cemetery employee who tried to intervene, that person (or the U.S. Army) has yet to provide any details that would show the above-cited rule was broken.
How did the employee know the picture with the Gold Star families was "campaign-related?" Did that person just assume that? Contrary to a lot of the framing, it is not against the rules to take a picture in Arlington National Cemetery. How do I know that? Because Democrats, including Joe Biden and Barack Obama, have done so numerous times without any pushback. //
Gutfeld also pointed out how the press is obsessed with Trump's bitter relatives and other irrelevant figures, but when the Gold Star families actually involved want airtime to tell their stories, suddenly they aren't newsworthy. //
Press bias is not just affecting Republican politicians anymore. It's now painting Gold Star families as villains so Kamala Harris can preen about respecting the very people her incompetence got killed. Think about how perverse that is. //

Harris using her X account to POLITICALIZE what she said Trump did, was POLITICALIZING the Arlington private ceremony attended by Trump and gold star families.
As usual the left DOES EXACTLY WHAT THEY ACCUSE others of doing. The only person using this visit for political points WAS THE HARRIS WALZ GANG!
Harris seized on two long-time Republican themes as part of her plan to change the messaging of the Democrat Party. Note that I said "change the messaging” — as opposed to changing her long-held policies, despite her lies to the contrary.
Ironically, those two themes are freedom and patriotism, both of which are anathema to the so-called “progressive” direction that Harris and today’s radicalized Democrat Party want to push — or drag — America. //

It's actually that last part I find especially funny. Some people questioned whether people really use wired earbuds anymore. Republicans and Trump voters alike are looking forward to watching Donald Trump rip apart the world's top word salad chef, Kamala Harris, but let's take a lesson from Crassus of the Triumvirate, and not let our superior strength convince us to ignore sound tactics.
Yeah, that's that deep knowledge you subscribe to these VIP articles for.
Yes, Trump has the experience, the accomplishments, and the ability to say complete sentences that make sense, but what Harris has is the media and rabid activists ready to make the debate less about the facts and the country and more about scoring socio-political points.
In other words, Harris doesn't have to win on facts. All she has to do is create two or three "girl boss" clips that the press can latch onto and push those moments over and over again until the entire debate became about these short moments that show her as a no-nonsense go-getter.
How do I know this is going to happen. A few things. //
However, this won't mean that he won't fall into the trap the Harris team and the media set for him. They will work to make it happen. They need that moment. If and when it does happen, Trump should call it out for what it is. Make it clear that this is the media's sad attempt to paint Harris as something she's not, a strong and capable person, and that they have to fall back on this kind of cheap nonsense in order to sell her.
He should remind the American people if this is the kind of thing she and the media focus on, then they fundamentally don't understand the trouble America is in, and that trouble is something that Harris a direct hand in causing. She wants to make this about presenting herself as presidential, when she's had four years to do that already. 12:44 AM · Sep 1, 2024 //
Here's the larger question surrounding this. Are we really going to elect a president based on nothing but manufactured "vibes?" That has become the entire strategy of the Harris campaign, bolstered by a press that is eager to spread her propaganda. Every interaction is painfully staged and focus-grouped. From the fake laughter to the constantly changed accents, nothing about Kamala Harris is authentic. It's as if she were created in a lab by political consultants who haven't met a real person in decades. //
As much as I hate to admit it, there is real power being wielded by the likes of CNN and The New York Times, with one study showing that as much as 84 percent of coverage of Harris has been positive. Remember, these news outlets don't have to fool 25 percent of the electorate. They just have to pull the wool over the eyes of a few percentage points to swing the election.
