George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, a frequent critic of the media, pointed to how some things were left unstated in the piece but deserved mention, like the fact that Kamala Harris herself undoubtedly knew of Biden's decline as did the press - by the WaPo's own admission: //
Throughout all of this, the corporate media has shown us who they really are over and over again, gaslighting us on Biden when it was obvious what was going on and only conveniently reversing course after the debate out of sheer panic over Biden essentially confirming what his critics have said about him all along, the same critics who purported news outlets like the WaPo relentlessly bashed.
"The gap that I see in all these speeches -- as good as they were -- [Kamala Harris] is in the White House right now. Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years, and for all of the talk about division and the problems in the country, and people are hurting, Democrats have mostly controlled this country.
Trump had it for four, the Obama's and Biden had it for the rest of the time, and somehow, it’s still all Trump’s fault, and somehow, she hasn’t been at the center of it. To me, that is the glaring hole in this campaign that hasn’t yet been solved at the convention. How do you explain all of the problems that will be solved by the person who is currently in there for the last three and a half years, and who is supposed to be already working on solving it?"

Wow.
Biden's line that he believes the pro-Hamas extremists outside the DNC "have a point" was not part of his speech.
He just felt that in his heart and decided to add it in there.

Oh, and the Hamas mob calling for the destruction of the USA and the Jews, and the police outside? They "have a point."

Pelosi is worse than a crime worm, because at least the crime worm is honest about their actions and motivations.
“So, too many people clapping for too long? Is that what it was?” Hemmer said to Tyler while unable to suppress a laugh over his answer. “Are we to buy that?”
Tyler and his cohorts on the left and in the media (but I repeat myself) can spin this whatever way they want to, but we all know why the speech was pushed back until nearly 11:30 pm Eastern Time and it wasn't because of "raucous applause interrupting speaker after speaker."
I mean, think about it. They know Biden's coherency window is between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm per his handlers, so why on earth would they have him on so late at night, well past the time when he, in their view, conceivably could make the most sense? For that matter, why not 7 or 8 pm ET?
It was because they didn't want voters to be reminded of just how bad a president Biden has been, and of all the behind-the-scenes cutthroat machinations Democrat leaders orchestrated for a few weeks in July to force him out of the race.
It's just as simple as that.
The 2024 Democratic Party platform has been released, and it's basically what you'd expect. Marked by a laundry list of far-left priorities, it mentions Donald Trump over one hundred times.
As RedState reported, it's also full of misleading nonsense, such as claiming that Democrats are "rebuilding" America's broadband network despite their $42 billion allocation not producing anything thus far. Naturally, the "very fine people" hoax got a mention too.
In their haste to proclaim how bad the orange man is, though, the writers of the document missed something. Guess who is mentioned as the nominee multiple times? //
you'd think someone could have read over the Democratic Party's own platform before pushing it out with Biden still in the lead position. Well, you'd think that until you remember these are the same people who have run the federal government into the ground. Competency isn't exactly their strong suit.

Not to mention the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal debacle. Remember, she was allegedly the "last person in the room" on the withdrawal discussions though one senior military official suggested, "She never gave a sense for where she was on it."
The 291-page report lays out several impeachable offenses on the part of Joe Biden and the substantial evidence supporting each. First and foremost, the report addresses the multiple instances of influence peddling by Biden family members — with Joe Biden's knowledge and assent. Additionally, the report addresses Biden's mishandling of classified information (as detailed in Special Counsel Robert Hur's report). Finally, the report sets out Biden's obstruction of Congress and of the criminal investigation into his son, Hunter.
Below are the impeachment inquiry's key findings as set forth in the report:
Pelosi sent an urgent message to the 81-year-old president last month while he was still nursing his COVID-19 infection at his Delaware beach house, insiders told the Daily Mail.
Pelosi reportedly threatened to publicly trash her longtime friend and political ally if he continued to ignore thunderous calls to drop out of the 2024 election over fears for his cognitive abilities, four sources close to the campaign told the outlet.
Pelosi threatened to go public with her belief that her fellow Democrat wouldn’t beat the Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump, in a rematch — and threatened to release humiliating polling data to back it up, the sources alleged. //
No, he didn't quit because it would be a distraction. He quit because he was afraid they were going to savage him — because he knew enough about Nancy Pelosi and how she works. He knew that she would crank up the nasty to do him in, and he didn't want to upset the perception he has of his legacy in his mind.
Roughly 95 percent of these border crossers were men between the ages of 18 and 60, he said.
The San Diego-Tijuana Smart Border Coalition estimates that there are 200,000 crossings daily, meaning if there were 300,000 Venezuelans on top of the regular traffic, it is an increase of 150 percent. //
“They were right there as you go through the line, the car line, and the walking line,” he said. “They were right there all getting-gathering to come back into San Diego. I mean, it's not hidden. It's out in the open. I mean, everyone can see it.” //
“They were waving a lot of us in the cars; they were just waving us through,” he said.
“Today it was just literally just waving people through, and we still had a 25-to-30-minute late wait,” he said. //
“Normally they'll say: ‘Have a nice day, get out of here, thanks,’” he said. “He just went OK and waved everyone on. He didn't even ask for my identity document. He didn't even touch it. He was just sitting in his chair.” //
The businessman said it was also a betrayal that it took him 19 months to secure his Global Entry pass, while he heard foreigners secure theirs in 10-to-14 days.
The eyewitness himself said he felt his government failed him as he said the migrants were taken care of better than American citizens with new clothes, new shoes, and backpacks.
“They were well-dressed, well-fed, and had all the supplies they need,” he said.
Now they are pushing citizenship at a record pace, hoping to use new citizens that "historically lean Democrat" to boost Harris’s election prospects.
Over 3.3 million immigrants have become naturalized citizens since the two entered the White House.
It is, without a doubt, an active attempt at “reshaping the electorate” in a way that could alter the outcome of the 2024 election. //

The most purely Leftist result of this effort as it seems to stand, would be if they were to vote Republican, which is more than possible, given the contradiction of people fleeing Leftism voting for Leftists.
This is so true, perhaps it has not occurred to Democrats that no longer wearing the mask they maintained since the end of WWII, might just matter in this regard.
Unfortunately, it is likely not that simple. This is really about padding Voter Rolls which amount to nameless numbers, as opposed to adding potential Voters, however illegal they may be.
Always, always, always take the Evil to the nth degree, with these people. It's where the reality of any matter will be found.
A Jerusalem Post story, citing sources in Kuwait, alleged that the Biden national security team gave the Iranians the names of deep-cover Mossad operatives working in Iran to try to de-escalate tensions between Israel and Iran. //
All of this may be true. The Kuwaiti paper may have pushed an Iranian story to stir up mischief. Fox may not have done due diligence on the story. It all might be a clever bit of disinformation.
On the other hand, "a hit dog will holler."
The counterargument to the story is based on the idea that the Kuwaiti newspaper has links to the Tehran regime and has posted inaccurate stories. //
That sounds plausible until you consider how many of the Steele Dossier stories that the media accepted at face value were also based on a single anonymous source. I'm not sure that is the strongest argument to make given our own media's performance during the Russia Hoax and COVID when they produced regime disinformation on a massive scale. I don't know why I'd believe the same people who were involved in sending $1.7 billion in cash to Tehran and lying about it rather than some other group of liars. //
The fact is that Biden's foreign policy is based on two impulses: fear and appeasement. Well, three impulses: fear, appeasement, and lies. We have read over and over about how the White House is trying to prevent "escalation" between Israel and Iran. We know from White House sources that Biden is trying to pressure Netanyahu into winding down the war in Gaza and not reacting to Hezbollah and Iranian provocations. We know that Iran has threatened to hit American targets if it can't adequately punish Israel; see Iran Warns US That If It Helps Israel Defend From Iran's Retaliation Itself Then the US Is Next – RedState. We know that the White House permits Iranian-backed gunmen to rocket US bases in the region with token retaliation. //
We know that Biden's foreign policy and defense agencies have senior people with very close ties to Tehran; see Defense Official With Frequent White House Visits and Known Iranian Ties Has a Link to Kamala Harris. Kamala's national security adviser has been employed by what is described as Iran's lobbying arm in Washington.
We also know that the White House is in thrall to the "Palestinian" movement and is deeply anti-Israel, if not outright antisemitic. //
I understand why people don't want to believe the story is true. I'd also love to be able to tell the story of an outrageous fraud. What I don't understand is what about the story isn't both plausible and totally on-brand for the Biden White House. //

Even if it’s not accurate, it reflects the utter shambles Biden has left our relationship with Israel. That story wouldn’t get reported unless there is either hard evidence the US acted as accused, or Israel is angry enough at American behavior to let it be printed without definitive proof. I would put my money on the story being true given Biden and his Obama staffed state department’s obsequiousness to Iran.
A group of up to 12 migrant boys or young men have been linked to roughly 10 robberies in Central Park, Chell said.
Police are investigating whether the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua has been enlisting young boys to commit robberies such as the wave of Central Park muggings, a senior law enforcement official previously told The Post.
All of this may be true. The Kuwaiti paper may have pushed an Iranian story to stir up mischief. Fox may not have done due diligence on the story. It all might be a clever bit of disinformation.

To be clear, they’re lying. The ‘support staff’ for the current administration makes all the decisions, determines what legislation to push, what to ignore, who to promote, what agendas to embrace, and so on. The only real decisions the two nitwits at the top of this anthill have made over the last three years is what bribes to take. The positions of the current administration have proven to be highly profitable for the current administration and their supporters, but crushing and destructive for the rest of the country. In order to get reelected, the support staff need to position the current administration as opposed to the current administration, and to that end they are lying like crazy. Hopefully, they lose. Big.

Biden says his goal is to "cut American cancer deaths in half by 2020"
4:58 PM · Aug 13, 2024 //
Kamala Harris was on board with Biden's policies; she knew about all this. She can't disassociate herself from all these failures and issues. But even he is more open with the press than she is.
The Obama administration was terrible to Netanyahu. Somehow, Joe Biden has managed to be even worse.
From Tablet Magazine:
“He is the first president to form an interagency team dedicated to imposing sanctions on an ally, namely, Israel.”
Normally you wouldn’t expect the New York Times to pursue a story that contains negative information about top-echelon Democrats, but lo and behold, on Tuesday evening the outlet dropped an article revealing that First Son Hunter Biden requested help from the U.S. Embassy in Rome to secure a lucrative deal for the Ukrainian gas giant, Burisma, whose board he famously sat on. Here's the kicker: this was in 2016 while Joe Biden was vice president. //
The timing of this document release certainly raises eyebrows—coming less than a month after Joe dropped out of the presidential race—but the Times and the State Department assure us it’s all just a coincidence. Sure. How convenient: //

Selective Leaking, so now everyone can say “ITS OLD NEWS”, when for EIGHT YEARS, they said it wasn’t even true.
A senior Department of Defense official linked to an organization that lobbies for the mullahs in Tehran has continued to hold the highest level of security clearance and visit the White House. //
Senior Department of Defense official Ariane Tabatabai participated in multiple meetings organized by the White House’s Presidential Personnel Office, which is responsible for recruiting and vetting scores of nominees across the government, visitor logs reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.
Tabatabai was at the White House just two months after Semafor revealed she was a key member of a secretive Iranian influence group, the Iran Experts Initiative, that reported back to Tehran’s foreign ministry, according to the logs. She participated in at least seven other White House gatherings throughout the end of 2023 and into April 2024, mixing with officials from a range of cabinet-level agencies. //
Her patron is none other than Phil Gordon, Kamala Harris's national security adviser.
In his resignation letter, Dunleavy criticized how the committee conducted its investigation into the Afghanistan withdrawal and the series of failures involved in the disaster. He describes the situation as "a diplomatic failure, an intelligence failure, a military failure, a strategic failure, a policy failure, a planning failure, a political failure, a truth-telling failure, and a moral failure" and stresses that each of these aspects needed thorough investigation.
The investigator explained that his efforts to look into key aspects of the withdrawal were “repeatedly stymied by our chief investigator and by senior staff,” which resulted in what he calls “investigative paralysis.”
Much of Dunleavy’s frustration stems from a reluctance to hold high-ranking officials accountable for their missteps – especially Vice President Kamala Harris, who he describes as a key decision-maker in the withdrawal. //
In his closing remarks, Dunleavy expressed concerns that the failures of the Afghanistan withdrawal have not been adequately addressed and fears these oversights will have serious consequences for future U.S. foreign policy.
