How do you know Kamala Harris is in trouble, and that the momentum is with former President Donald Trump?

Endangered Democrats in tight Senate races are boasting about their ties to Trump, as they try to run to the middle to appeal to the voters.

We reported earlier about Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) saying in an ad that he bucked Joe Biden to "protect fracking and he sided with Trump to end NAFTA and put tariffs on China." That indicates he knows he needs to align with Trump to improve his chances (even if he doesn't actually align with Trump generally). //

Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) put up an ad, featuring Trump, saying she "got President Trump to sign her Made in America bill": //

Rep. Elissa Slotkin's (D-Mich.) campaign for Senate also spent more than a $1 million starting mid-August on an ad saying she "wrote a law signed by President Trump forcing drug companies to show their actual prices," according to AdImpact. [....]

Tester ads have featured Montanans who say they are "lifelong Republicans" or plan to vote for Trump, but back Tester for Senate.

An ad from earlier this year boasts that Brown "wrote a bill that Donald Trump signed to crack down on drugs at the border."

That last candidate mentioned is Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH).

They're blowing up Kamala Harris' narrative that Trump is unstable/Hitler when they're including him in ads. Plus, they're also acknowledging that mentioning Trump is going to help them in their elections, which is a nod to his strength in those swing states. If they thought Harris was winning, they wouldn't see a need to do that:

It's worth noting that Politico's headline reads "Harris to join Michelle and Barack Obama on the Campaign Trail." Last I checked, it's the vice president who is running and being joined on the campaign trail, yet the press, in all their slavish devotion, still gives deference to the Obamas. //

NEWS: The Biden-Harris administration now admits that an Afghan national accused of plotting an election day terror attack did not undergo certain vetting they previously claimed he passed. Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi was never vetted or approved by the State Department for special immigrant (SIV) status, despite officials from other agencies claiming that he cleared that stringent process. //

The story is deeply troubling for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it confirms the worst suspicions of Americans that the Biden-Harris administration is incompetent at best and malicious at worst. They think they can just lie about important security matters like a planned terrorist attack on U.S. soil by a dangerous man they should have never let into the country, then have it all swept under the rug by its media mouthpieces. //

It was in the 2003 race for the job of San Francisco District attorney, which Harris won—by cheating. She had agreed, under penalty of perjury, to spending limits, as had her rivals, but then she simply ignored them. //

Sure, Kamala may have broken a little law here or there, but she’s a progressive Democrat in a one-party state—so what did she do? She simply hired a good attorney:

…thanks to hiring a good lawyer and making the excuse that, oh, the form changed, I didn't really understand the meaning of this, so please lift the cap. She got the San Francisco Ethics Commission—and by the way, many of those people on the ethics Commission owed their positions to Willie Brown.

She got them to look the other way on this gross violation. It's a crime, by the way.

She could have been prosecuted for a misdemeanor had she been properly held accountable for this significant campaign finance violation, and anybody else would have, but the Ethics Commission simply lifted the cap, which is not in the Statute, so instead of disqualifying her, which would have been the normal punishment, and prosecuting her, she simply got away with it.

So in her first race for elected office, she ignored the campaign finance limits, she used corrupt patronage from her former lover to raise the money necessary to do the glossy ads. I've got several examples here. She did more mailers than all of the other candidates. She had independent expenditures on her behalf, and she simply was able to outspend and blow through these limits. //

“It’s pretty incredible that the birth of this meteoric career comes out of multiple campaign violations,” she concluded. //

That interview with Tucker was arguably the most fascinating interview I've ever seen, but that probably is because I'm from the Bay Area and have been politically active for a long time, it brought back a lot of memories and flashbacks to San Francisco politics.

One of the things that Harmeet touched on briefly and that I've been interested in is the fact that Kamala Harris used to be a good public speaker, she was glib and knowledgeable, and could speak extemporaneously. But the fact that she now cannot speak publicly and appears to be genuinely dimwitted at times has been puzzling to me,

Harmeet's conclusion was that she has Imposter Syndrome, that she knows she doesn't belong and that she's in over her head. The problem with that argument is that she has been hand-selected for everything she's ever achieved and has been in over her head the entire time.

But in this case, the decision was made in January 2021, when Joe Biden signed executive orders largely undoing Donald Trump's border policies and effectively throwing the border open. There was illegal immigration before that, but the Harris/Biden administration's policies have allowed it to explode.

This mess in Aurora, Colorado, is just one of the outcomes of that catastrophically bad decision. And the root cause can be laid squarely at the feet of Joe Biden and Kamala "Border Czar" Harris.

If Trump intends to politicize the military, filling the ranks with loyalists, it sets the stage for a dramatic and fundamental change in how the United States is supposed to operate.

I'd encourage this guy to review how Thomas Jefferson dealt with known Federalist Army officers or ponder the fact that the military is not the civil service. The military is not an independent power center that has "equities." The president is the commander-in-chief. Every commissioned officer is appointed at each step of his career by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate. I have a copy of the Congressional Record when the Senate voted to make me a second lieutenant. No one is advocating a partisan military, but Trump and many of us would like to return to the days when active-duty general officers, or even retired general officers, stayed out of partisan politics and basic standards of civilized behavior adhered to; see General Mark Milley Reportedly Stocking Up on Brown Trousers in Case Trump Is Reelected – RedState. The president has the right, and I would argue the duty, to ensure that senior officers faithfully execute his will and not sandbag him behind his back.

The former president has lashed out at generals before, but this was new. Trump apparently envisions a system in which U.S. military leaders will be subjected to some kind of ideological review, in which members of a task force — whose members will presumably be appointed by Trump — will go about assessing the generals’ and admirals’ personal attitudes.

Those deemed “woke” will apparently see their military careers curtailed.

What could possibly go wrong?

There is nothing wrong with Trump doing just that, and the worst results of that process would not be as bad as what we've seen with the military being suborned on a wholesale level by the left. //

Obama retired hundreds of officers who didn’t support his view of the military, enabling the remainder to be politicized to implement the leftist agenda. Trump needs to purge (yes, the correct term) any officer at any level who supports the “woke” agenda and has implemented DEI policies from the last administration. I was Army during the Obama reign of terror and I don't recall the number but he purged hundreds of Army officers at the general down to the colonel level because of their lack of social conscienceness or something like that. Trump is a man with many flaws, but……..

He is intelligent, ran successful businesses, stepped up to the plate when needed, did not use politics to amass a fortune and did not use sex to advance any career he has. Speaking of which, he has had several successful careers. He was wildly successful as POTUS - within the means he had at his disposal and despite internal sabotage, until the “setup” a once-in-a-century pandemic, originating in America’s greatest geopolitical threat, just HAPPENED to occur at the most vulnerable time for his re-election. With all that’s happened since, doesn’t that seem to be a strange coincidence?

On the other hand, Kamala Harris has ZERO success on her own and really has no consequential successes to speak of. She got where she was by being an influential politician’s mistress after having an academic background that seems to be a secret. She became a United States Senator in a state that has funky nomination rules, funky election rules and a population who would elect Attila the Hun or Daffy Duck if they ran as Democrats. At least Attila had skills. She was the worst presidential candidate in the history of the Republic and her ONLY qualification for VP is that she is a “woman of color”. Seriously? She has shown herself to be vapid and vacuous. She cannot think extemporaneously. Her personality is such that staff quit in droves. If you research her background, you will see that her ideas and policy proposals at BEST are Socialist and at worst are thinly-veiled Communist. If the media and “influencers” in the USA are trying to hide all this stuff, people should ask the question, why?

People may HATE Trump’s personality and/or may be so intellectually incurious that they believe the hit jobs on Trump that are coming from everyone whose power (and money) sources are being threatened by him, but to choose someone who is so ridiculously unqualified for ANY executive position over him is just plain nuts.

She thought that October 7, the one-year anniversary of the massacre in Israel, was the right day to get all dolled up and pretend she's some sort of fashion icon? This speaks directly to the incredibly tone-deaf ways and poor judgment that have come to define Kamala Harris.
