Ted Cruz had offered an amendment (No. 1456) to prohibit federal funding for any colleges/ universities that discriminated against Asian Americans in their admissions process. America is being confronted with a harsh reality and it upsets all of the normal standards when we are being faced with a choice between good and evil. And there is no greater example of evil and good than the woke left and the make America great again movement, i.e. Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is no saint, and I don't think he would EVER claim to be, but he is a patriot that loves his country and wants to serve it to better it, in return for all it has given him.

Kamala Harris is an empty pantsuit, with nothing to offer other than her desire to get as much as she can before the ride ends. She was GIVEN her position based on nothing but her skin color and her perceived lack of a threat to a weak candidate that was reaching for any lifeline. He made a major mistake, he trusted the movers and shakers of the woke, leftist democratic/marxist party since he had been a participant in their greediness and corruption for so long, he stupidly thought he had their respect. Let us hope the American electorate has learned what happens when you elect (or supposedly elect) an incompetent taker that has never contributed to or built anything in America. Politics is a dirty business, and Donald Trump is a rare find in a politician, he actually does care about America and Americans. Up until he challenged the woke, leftist democrats, they loved him and always had their hand out to him, for whatever they could get out of him. He has learned a hard lesson at great cost to himself and his family, because he committed the cardinal sin to the woke, leftist democratic/marxist party - he actually liked the middle class and working people, and they didn't need a college degree to get his respect.

Their insane hatred of him since he declared for Republican nominee for President truly knows no bounds and he surely must be aware that they will not stop until he stops them. I think he learned a lot from his last four years in office and I look forward to him proving it.

I have had comments from those that thought my respect for him and the fact that I actually believe in him, shows some defect in my character or worse. As anyone that has ever reached for the brass ring knows, losers always try to drag you down rather than best you, and failing that, will not hesitate to resort to violence.

Losers usually also find out, winners are winners because they know how to deal with losers.

And Donald Trump is definitely a winner.

It probably will shock Kamala Harris and the rest of her campaign staff to learn that there are incumbent Democrat US Senators in this country right now running television ads touting all their work with this "modern-day Hitler."

I wonder if Kamala Harris tonight in our town hall meeting will call for them to take these ads off the air touting their work with this "Hitler"?

I mean, if he were really "Hitler," if he were really "a threat to democracy," not a single Democrat in this country would be running ads touting their work with Donald Trump.

If these people had succeeded and the restaurant had to lay off some employees or even shut down altogether, it would have had a negative impact on the workers they claim to care about. Once again, Democrats are putting their hypocrisy on full display. She is so incredibly stupid. Even if abortion was an actual right—let’s assume that it was just added to the Bill of Rights—it would be a lesser right. There is a reason the freedoms of speech and religion come first, followed by the right to bear arms.

Furthermore, she continues to misstate the issue. It’s not about a woman’s body, it’s about her child’s. It just so happens that body happens to be inside hers. Several points need to be made about abortion and religion.

1. The foetus is not the mother's body. At most it is 1/2 genetically similar to the mother. After 6 weeks, it has a brain, feels pain, and is beginning to look like a little human.
2. The vast majority of abortions are for convenience (don't want another child, financial considerations, etc). Instances of rape or incest are very small (about 1%). Medical difficulties (life of mother, abnormalities of baby) are also very small. Pregnancy is the result of sex, not an additive in the drinking water.
3. Religion is a belief system ascribed to by an individual which governs his/her world view, from private actions to public actions. Everyone has some sort of religion, whether it's mainstream or not. Atheism is a religion in that it is a worldview which negates any god.
4. One could estimate that since Roe v Wade in 1973, some 80 million persons are missing from the U.S. population. A healthy growing young population supports the middle age and seniors, both socially and economically. A country with a declining population will begin to suffer economically.
5. The Dem obsession with abortion reminds me of the party's clinging to slavery in the 1850's. And we know where that went.

Harris’ campaign is promising that if she is elected and the numbers in Congress work, Democrats will eliminate the Senate filibuster. //

The Dems are not promising to eliminate the filibuster to break a few ties, with the understanding that there will likely be future turnabout and their worst Republican policy nightmares will come true. This time they are playing for keeps.

If they can broadly eliminate the filibuster, buy four more senators, make millions of illegal aliens citizens with a 51-senator vote, rig our voting system processes, and rejigger the Supreme Court to create a roster of 13 mostly leftist justices, then they can entirely stop speaking to the Republican side of the aisle because they will have a permanent filibuster-proof Senate majority. And the Republicans will never have enough voters to reinstate legislative bumpers for both sides. It is not that Democrats have evaluated the likely conservative counter-offensive and determined that the risk is a good one. They perceive no risk. With all these sweeping changes, they can do whatever they want until the end of time with no practical oversight or influence of the people. The only two things holding them back are a Harris victory in November and a conscience they sorely lack. We will be a functional leftist autocracy. //

The question is who wants to live in a place in which only a single point of view is mandated from the top of government down by people who have proven themselves to be too ineffective to lead under the rules that have existed for generations? Who will support a Republican Party that sees all of this partisan rule breaking coming and does nothing to stop it? This presidential election is a referendum on both parties, neither of which seems able to look to the future to understand its gravity. //

Regardless of how many times Democrat candidates tell us that they are protecting democracy, they are not doing anything of the sort. Democracy is mob rule, one more vote than the other team. The filibuster is not contained in the Constitution but instead is the logical outgrowth of the long-developed Senate rule-making process. For a bill to be filibuster-proof, it required the support of 67 senators until a rule change reduced that number to 60 in 1975. Legislative processes are not designed so one party or the other, with 51 votes, can trade radical swings in our country’s laws and policies. They are designed for the opposite result, to force legislation down the middle and away from both ideological extremes.

Our Constitution and Senate and House rules are written to compel legislators, who work for the people, to stand eye-to-eye, communicate, and compromise for the greater good. The 60 votes serve as an effective buffer against radicalism. Harris and her party have utter disdain for that rule book.

There’s going to be a presidential election in a couple weeks, but few think that we’ll know for sure the next president on November 5—what used to be known, quaintly, as “Election Day.”

Most likely, it’s going to be weeks, maybe even months, before we see a victor. And here’s a prediction: The Sturm und Drang will come in five phases: litigation, negotiation, discreditation, devolution, and then, monetization. I can explain.

According to President Joe Biden’s Justice Department, it is now a federal crime to prevent illegal ballots in presidential elections.

Barely 30 days before the 2024 election, the Justice Department sued the state of Virginia to prohibit its removal of the names of noncitizens from voting rolls. //

The Virginia lawsuit is simply the latest in Democrats’ long war against honest voting, which began with the Clinton administration’s Motor Voter Act. That 1993 law mandated voter registration in every welfare and food-stamp office in the nation. Brent Thompson, executive director of the Fair Government Foundation, observed in 1996, “The Motor Voter law did away with a panoply of anti-fraud mechanisms long relied on by the states to police and deter fraudulent voting.”

In 2015, the Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton condemned voter identification requirements as part of a “sweeping effort to disempower and disenfranchise people of color, poor people and young people.” //

But the panic induced by Covid-19 enabled politicians to radically loosen the rules for the next presidential election. Many states made it easier—if not automatic—to vote by mail, even though a 2012 New York Times analysis concluded that “fraud in voting by mail is… vastly more prevalent than the in-person voting fraud that has attracted far more attention.” Some states abandoned any effort to verify mail ballots, dropping requirements for matching signatures, return addresses, or having a witness verify the person and the vote. Civil Rights Commissioner J. Christian Adams noted that “Democrats succeeded in tossing out state laws related to absentee ballot verification, deadlines and a whole range of laws all in the name of Covid.” //

A week after Election Day, the New York Times ran a banner headline across the top of the front page: “Election Officials Nationwide Find No Fraud.” How did the Times know? Their reporters basically called election officials in each state and asked, “Did y’all have any fraud?” A total lack of fraud in an election with more than 100 million voters would have required divine intervention to achieve. Biden’s 2020 victory became the election equivalent of the Immaculate Conception. //

Preventing bogus ballots should not be treated like a moral or theological issue. When did verifying votes become a crime against democracy? Why is the Justice Department crusading to turn voting into an entitlement program for non-citizens? Do Democrats seek to make the actual voting as fraud-ridden as politicians’ campaign promises? Elections need rigorous safeguards against fraud because, as Thomas Paine warned long ago, “the trade of governing has always been monopolized by… the most rascally individuals of mankind.” Four presidential elections since 2000 have been heavily tainted by allegations of foul play. American democracy has zero legitimacy to spare at this point.

Today, Politico, following on its improbable claim that Trump is eluding the media by holding rallies and cooking fries at Mcdonald's (see EPIC: Trump Trolls Kamala in Hilarious Move As He Works Fries, Drive-Thru Window at McDonald's) by claiming he has a way to seize power even if he loses on Election Day...or whenever Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin finally get around to counting their votes: The Very Real Scenario Where Trump Loses and Takes Power Anyway - POLITICO.

In the words of Donald Rumsfeld, they start with "an illogical premise and proceeding perfectly logically to an illogical conclusion." //

So, a Trump who has less power today than he had in 2020 and in a legal environment that has foreclosed some avenues that could have been exploited last time around is more likely to try to overthrow the election results. With this assertion, Donald Trump officially has achieved Super Villain status. //

An overwhelming Harris victory would make it harder for Trump to rally Republicans to his side. (If Trump wins, no one expects a comparable effort by Democrats to subvert the election.) //

The article goes on to spin a tale that would make Tom Clancy proud. All of it is predicated on two improbable events. First and foremost, the idea that a twice-defeated Trump has enough clout in state legislatures to convince them to contravene state law and just flip the electoral votes to Trump is, bluntly, both dishonest and quite possibly stupid as well. Second, the idea that a Republican House majority that literally can't pass a single budget bill has the unity to change the rules of certifying electors requires a level of dimwittery rarely witnessed, even among political journalists.

They have no concern about Kamala Harris, who serves as the presiding officer for the joint session of Congress that will elect the president, having an unresolvable conflict of interest in both corrupting the process and outcome and engaging in shenanigans of her own. //

In sparring here with Trump haters for years I have noticed that they do not understand him. Their image of him is a simplistic charicature. In reality, Trump confounds easy categorization. He's got huge self confidence and ego and yet is unafraid to make fun of himself or get roasted. That's why he was able to thrive at the Al Smith dinner and Kamala could not - she cannot tolerate any jokes at her expense because she's so insecure and fake.

Trump is a billionaire who loves the common man and speaks in the language of the common man, including coarse language and jokes - and he's a genuine populist (where Bernie Sanders is not, trust me, he does not like the average American).

Kamala is not built for this contest. Trump is - and the things that some people don't like about his personality is part of why he is able to withstand all the hate and attacks and do things like this anyway.

Even though I make fun of losers like Billy Wallace, the truth is I feel sorry sometimes that they can only wake up and hate this man to the point of obsession. That's their right, of course, but it's still a pathetic way to go through life and warped way to experience this unique moment in American history.

He's the fighter we need to take down their Machine. He's part of the New Right that is willing to reach regular Americans where they live, unlike the Bushes and Cheneys and Romneys who look down at us (though GWB and Jeb! were somewhat better in this aspect).

Vote. Vote. Vote (even in blue districts). Let your voice be heard. Our leaders are NOT above us, they should serve us - and in this case, Trump was serving fries.

What the left can't accept is that regardless of their level of intelligence, their ideology is fraudulent and their ideas are childish and quite stupid.

Their cancel culture seals the deal because they do not allow any "heretics" to stray from the narrative, which is why they get so blindsided when the people do not behave as they expect.

And this is why they have such a distorted and false understanding of how DC works and what the functions of the different branches of the government. It is their only source.

I noticed that in each of the shows you enumerate, the liberals were always portrayed as benevolent and saint like, and played by somewhat attractive actors, and the conservatives depicted as gruff, unstable, mean-spirited ogres, mostly played by the dorkiest of actors.
I wonder why that most always seemed to be the case.
