Yesterday was Columbus Day, a holiday in honor of an important man who did something important. However, under Joe Biden's misrule, it has been rebranded into a travesty called "Indigenous People's Day." No one is sure what the day is about. Most Americans ignore it while the left enters into a bacchanalia of America-bashing and virtue signaling.
I have a great deal of problems with this new commemorative day because I can't really figure out what we are honoring with that celebration. The contributions made by the aboriginal peoples of North America to American or world culture are exceedingly small. A handful of words — canoe, moccasin, squaw, etc. — have passed into common usage. There are a modest number of burial mounds and some rock glyphs to record their passing. None of the American Indian tribes had developed metallurgy or the wheel. Mathematics and even a rudimentary means of writing were unknown for the most part. Warfare was endemic and brutal, and frequently had the objective of genocide. Slavery was part of the culture of most Indian tribes, as was ritualized torture, human sacrifice, and cannibalism. In short, I find very little admirable about American Indian culture — the documented variety, not the maudlin, Dances With Wolves fake culture the left imagines existed — and can't think of any reason Americans, of all ancestries, have to be sorry that it is a thing of the past. //
Indigenous People's Day is just another assault on America by people who hate the country. Yesterday's statement by Kamala Harris is a prime example of the left and a large number of the America First crowd fetishizing anyone the US has bested economically or militarily.
Yep, Europeans destroyed Stone Age tribal societies mired in superstition and bloodletting and built the greatest nation on Earth. We won, you lost, deal with it.
Historically, and especially from the national identity and unity perspective, Indigenous People's Day makes much less sense than Antebellum South Day. //

The American flag is dipped in submission. This is not done.
-
The flag that remains upright is that of the Northern Cheyenne Nation. This is another one of those anomalies that demonstrate just how fake this stuff is. American Indians never had the industry to make flags, and they didn't use flags, so this is just cultural appropriation. The irony of the victory ceremony being conducted in American English, Custer's native tongue, can't be overlooked. //
Ethnic pride is great, but it can't be at the sake of an American identity. If that is where you are headed, trust me when I tell you that you aren't going to like where the path you are following is going to take you. //

Darkest Hour (2017)
A shocking discovery has surfaced that Yale University failed to disclose over $15 million dollars in donations from Qatar, the Middle Eastern country that is housing senior Hamas leaders.
The timing could not be worse for the university's reputation after the antisemitism that has been displayed in colleges across the nation over the last eight months. //
The report also states that Qatar has been the largest international donor to American universities since September 11th, and has given a whopping $5.6 billion since 2007. Top recipients are Ivy League schools such as Yale, Harvard, Stanford, and Cornell.
This would explain a lot. //
Our universities are being bought by anti-American countries that want to infiltrate our culture, politics, and ideology, and they're succeeding.
In light of the current passion for accurate "bookkeeping," Yale should be made to answer for this illegal activity. Moreover, steps need to be taken to protect the integrity of our academic institutions. If they can be so easily bought by our enemies, what's next?

For those romanticizing the protests occurring on college campuses, “Death to America!” is one sentiment that runs counter to what we believe in, what we stand for, and what many have fought for on behalf of this country. And if you think the words written on this piece of paper are disturbing … you should hear the vile, disgusting, hateful, & threatening words coming out of the mouths of far too many of these so called “peaceful protestors.” //

After clearing out an illegal encampment this morning, NYPD found posters on NYU’s campus that say “Death to America.”
Any student who promotes terrorism on behalf of Hamas should be added to the terrorist watchlist.

'Death to Israel,' 'Death to America' signs found on NYU property, NYPD says
7:30 PM · May 3, 2024
It's also important to note that the "settler state" is not just Israel. They also regard the United States as a "settler state." You can see here on X the huge hammer that they carried during the protests in NYC, that says "From the US to Palestine, abolish the settler state." Thousands of people walked behind that sign. They marched through NYC calling for an end to the United States, at least as presently constituted. Not exactly a comforting thought when we've already seen how extreme some of these folks can be.
If that wasn't clear enough, University of Minnesota Professor Melanie Yazzie spelled it out during a wild video taken at an indigenous anti-Israel event that you can see on X. "We're all indigenous people who come from nations who are under occupation by the United States government," she said.
And, of course, the U.S. bankrolls the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land. They’re one and the same, really.
So it’s our responsibility as people who are within the United States to go as hard as possible to decolonize this place because that will reverberate all across the world. Because the U.S. is the greatest predator empire that has ever existed.
We want U.S. out of everywhere. We want U.S. out of Palestine. We want U.S. out of Turtle Island. Right? And that the goal is to dismantle the settler project that is the United States for the freedom and the future of all life on this planet. It very much depends on that.
In case it wasn't clear, "Turtle Island" refers to North America that they want to "decolonize" and get the U.S. out of. //

Nobody is afraid of them, or even their movement. In open conflict, they would all be dead within a month.
What we fear, is having to kill the to protect ourselves. When you advocate genocide against those that are stronger than you, it is a recipe for your own demise.
The only new twist in this historical drama, is that the victors would feel bad at having been forced to kill you.
These morons wouldn't feel guiltily raping and murdering you, but they are not actually decent people. They are damaged individuals who want to justify their violent urges, but they are a tiny minority, it is just the have forgotten the latter fact.
My appearance on the Mark Reardon Show about antisemitism on campuses: “Jews end up becoming a proxy for everything that these groups hate about our own society. So if you did one of Kamala Harris’s Venn diagrams and you had things that were over overlapping … anti-American, anti-Capitalist, anti-Israel, there is a huge overlap.”
