Original Star Wars fans are not getting it. The WHOLE POINT of "The Acolyte" was to destroy the original fan base' interest and memory-hole the original stories. The people producing this garbage never liked Star Wars in the first place, they want to replace it with something the original fan base will ignore. It is is simply impossible for me to believe that these people thought original fans would like "The Acolyte" at all. They know Disney will never give up making content with the IP, no matter how terrible it is.
To add insult to injury they did interviews where they giggled like immature middle school girls at the "rumors" about the problems with the show, which they admitted to not being problems in their eyes. If Disney doesn't get it by now, they never will.

The wokies are actively trying to destroy franchises that appeal to boys and young men - Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, the MCU, etc. Why? To feminize the culture. Get rid of science fiction and superheroes that promote masculinity and appeal to the masculine half of the movie-going public.
BTW, film critic and former studio executive Paul Chato referred to that series as "The Ejacolyte."

A little Strait is a nice respite in the midst of Pride Month.
Again, content isn't bad, but if we're truly wanting to change hearts, then conservatives should focus more on the arts and not as much on the news and current events side. I think it's got that pretty well covered. //

I think you are right Brandon. But, it's important to recognize an aspect of the problem that I believe flies under the radar.
...
Much of the best work of the past, especially in film, books, and television, came through as "conservative" because the story mattered first. Any conservative "messaging" is usually an organic result of telling stories that reflect, in one way or another, relatable situations of human affairs contending with universal problems. Theoretically, a creator could use a "trans" activist as the protagonist, without preaching either a conservative or liberal message, and provide profound meaning to both conservatives and liberals with a great telling of the story.
The progressives of today are putting out crap. And conservatives are missing the point in art.
But I think this current dynamic is setting us up for conservatives to find their feet and start telling great stories again. People are hungering for it...they require it for their souls and mental health. And progressives are currently missing the mark by a long shot.
Of the top 100-rated broadcasts in 2023, according to Nielsen, 93 of those were NFL games!
The overtaking of the airwaves is even more remarkable when you see that the few programs that managed to worm onto the list were special broadcasts. Three NCAA football games got in there, as did the Super Bowl postgame coverage. So, apart from that sport, all else you will find is three differing entries: The State Of The Union Address, The Oscars, and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The visual is just staggering.
