Salon published an essay that compared the MAGA movement to ISIS. Their reasoning: men are drawn to both groups because of...toxic masculinity. The essay compared “so-called incels who commit mass shootings” to “Trump fans who attack government buildings” and “terrorists imbibing ISIS propaganda." The comparison went on to conclude that "toxic masculinity" was responsible for the radicalization of members of both groups. By the way, gold star for the mental gymnastics required to get that January 6 reference in there. //

Masculinity isn’t toxic. The absence thereof is toxic.
Weak men are abusive and spiteful.
Strong men are protective and loving.
Make masculinity great again.

Of all the classes of people who ever lived, the American woman is the most privileged. We have the most rights and rewards, and the fewest duties. Our unique status is the result of a fortunate combination of circumstances. //
If the women’s libbers want to reject marriage and motherhood, it’s a free country and that is their choice. But let’s not permit these women’s libbers to get away with pretending to speak for the rest of us. Let’s not permit this tiny minority to degrade the role that most women prefer. Let’s not let these women’s libbers deprive wives and mothers of the rights we now possess.
Tell your Senators NOW that you want them to vote NO on the Equal Rights Amendment. Tell your television and radio stations that you want equal time to present the case FOR marriage and motherhood.

🚨 BIDEN: "We've run a campaign that's basically scandal free. That's hard to do in American politics."
(Except covering up his obvious cognitive decline, peddling his family's influence, hiding classified documents, etc etc etc)
6:39 PM · Dec 15, 2024
It goes without saying that all such claims by the enfeebled president are demonstrably false. Consider: Bidenflation. Botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Pardon-palooza. Mishandling of classified documents. Weaponizing his Justice Department. Failing to secure the release of the hostages in Gaza.
All of that barely scratches the surface of just how bad of a president Biden has been. The fact is that Joe Biden will go down in history as one of our country's worst, with a recent poll showing his abysmal performance over the past four years has earned him the bottom-most position.
What's a washed up politician to do to save his legacy with scant little time to do it? Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) thinks she has the perfect solution: Make the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) a Constitutional amendment. //
The Sunday version of The New York Times published a grotesque leftist wish list of things a weird assortment of people — Rick Steves and weed? — want Biden to do before he's booted from The White House. The premise? Biden couldn't debase himself anymore than he did by pardoning his own son, so he might as well do all sorts of additional shameful things. //
Gillibrand is running with the idea, writing:
With Republicans set to take unified control of government, Americans are facing the further degradation of reproductive freedom.
Fortunately, Mr. Biden has the power to enshrine reproductive rights in the Constitution right now. He can direct the national archivist to certify and publish the Equal Rights Amendment. This would mean that the amendment has been officially ratified and that the archivist has declared it part of the Constitution.
She thinks she's got it all figured out, saying “I’ve never done more legal analysis and work since I was a lawyer.” Here's the gist of it:
Both houses of Congress approved the amendment in 1972, but it was not ratified by the states in time to be added to the Constitution. Ms. Gillibrand has been pushing a legal theory that the deadline for ratification is irrelevant and unconstitutional. All that remains, she argues, is for Mr. Biden to direct the national archivist, who is responsible for the certification and publication of constitutional amendments, to publish the E.R.A. as the 28th Amendment. //
The late Phyllis Schlafly wrote her seminal "What’s Wrong with ‘Equal Rights’ for Women?" essay back in 1972, and every one of her points from then holds true today.
Why should we trade in our special privileges and honored status for the alleged advantage of working in an office or assembly line? Most women would rather cuddle a baby than a typewriter or factory machine. Most women find that it is easier to get along with a husband than a foreman or office manager. Offices and factories require many more menial and repetitious chores than washing dishes and ironing shirts. Women’s libbers do not speak for the majority of American women. American women do not want to be liberated from husbands and children.
Schlafly circa 1972 is pure gold: "The 'women’s lib' movement is not an honest effort to secure better jobs for women who want or need to work outside the home. This is just the superficial sweet-talk to win broad support for a radical 'movement.' Women’s lib is a total assault on the role of the American woman as wife and mother, and on the family as the basic unit of society." //

The deadline the states missed is completely relevant - it was in the amendment itself. So since they didn't meet the deadline, it failed. To pass it, it has to be re-introduced and voted on again
Even when not in situations where violence is needed, men are excellent leaders and decision makers. They're solution-oriented and effective at implementing these solutions, even in the midst of pushback.
So the key to control is to kick that will to fight out of men, and to do that, you have to have a multi-front assault on masculinity and the inherent drives of men. It's something that has to be done over a long period of time, and if you look at our current situation in terms of the state of masculinity, you'll see this very plan has been in motion for a while. //
Our society, including our schools, have done a lot to both intentionally and unintentionally remove the fighting spirit and masculinity of men. Boys are treated like "defective girls" as psychologist Michael Thompson put it. Their natural energy and rambunctiousness is suppressed with rules and even drugs. Their preoccupation with action-based play, mock battles, and games that center on good vs. evil have become punishable offenses.
They tell young men that their masculinity is evil, and needs to be reduced if not eliminated entirely. It's "toxic," and needs to be reimagined to be softer, passive... and quiet. In media, the men are no loner displayed as strong, they're not put into leadership roles, and if they are, then there's always a female counterpart who is always better in every way that counts. Stars even go so far as to display themselves in women's clothing, showing that masculinity is just a social construct and men should embrace this new softer side of themselves by acting like women. //
Of course, then there's the way society comes down on masculinity in social situations. Commercials like the Gillette "We Believe" ad painted the very nature of men as ridiculous and awful, and while the pushback cost P&G billions, all it did was teach big stage tastemakers not to attack men directly and do it subversively instead. Corporations began promoting "transgender" people, celebrating males becoming females.
There were also legal punishments for being masculine, and you saw that recently in the form of Daniel Penny, a man who stood up for the innocent and took down a violent criminal, neutralizing him and saving others. Penny was thankfully found innocent in a court of law, but let's not pretend this wasn't an attempt to dissuade onlooking men from being a hero when the time came.
Carl Jackson brought up this very point in a recent program where he said, "if you abolish chivalry, you increase the nanny state." He brings up the fact that the left wants me to "tuck their testicles" and notes, as I have, that they've been "largely successful." //
We have to start celebrating masculinity. We have to start encouraging boys to be boys. We have to make men dangerous again.
Because a free, stable society cannot exist if dangerous men aren't there to protect and maintain it. There is no civilization if men aren't willing to fight for it. There is no order if dangerous men aren't willing to establish it. //

Dr Peterson has discussed this with details. Dangerous, disciplined, chivalrous men who are locked and loaded. Mr. Penny comes to mind.
But they're missing something very important about the original Snow White. In fact, they're missing what I would consider to be such an important part of femininity overall.
The 1937 Snow White didn't lift a finger to fight. She didn’t have to. Her purity and goodness were worth fighting for and protecting, which is why a group of normally peaceful dwarves picked up their weapons and went to chase after the evil queen at the end.
I don’t know if you recall this moment from the original movie, but it’s still a heart-wrenching, intense, and oddly beautiful moment. When this movie was first released in theaters, people were really overcome here. There were people crying in the theaters when the apple fell from Snow White’s hand, because they truly thought she’d died.
At that moment, the audience was the dwarves. They wanted to bring the evil queen to justice. We wanted to pick up weapons and ride out in the name of punishing evil and preserving that beauty and kindness that had touched our lives. Ultimately, that evil was struck down by God Himself. To this day, the entirety of the pursuit sequence holds up as an incredibly dynamic moment.
But the dwarves served a much deeper purpose here. We were the dwarves. All of us. We were messy, grumpy, dopey, and unrefined, but when true goodness and beauty come into our lives, it changes us for the better.
We relate to the dwarves on a personal level, and defending the beauty in our lives, even if violently, is worth doing.
Even after this sequence, a very interesting phrase pops up on the screen before it cuts to her in her golden coffin, with all creation, including the dwarves, paying homage to this beautiful, kind woman.
"So beautiful, even in death, that the dwarfs could not find it in their hearts to bury her."
She was inspiring them even after she died. That was the effect she had on them. You're going to tell me that this isn't a power of its own? To be so life-changing that the people who knew you didn't want to let you go? Taken spiritually, you really begin to see the importance of what Snow White actually represented.
Snow White enchanted everyone she came across. She caused people to change into better people, not because she forced it or demonstrated some sort of artificial toughness, but because she inspired them to be better.
This is what the writers of this modern rip-off and the actors and actresses that play in it don’t get. To them, Snow White is a character that needs to change because she has no power. They see her as weak and, as such, needs to be injected with strength, not understanding that Snow White’s tenderness and boundless kindness carry with them a strength and power that refines civilizations, crafts and grows humanity, and inspires goodness through kindness, generosity, and tender warmth.
This is the very essence of femininity, and it's a strength that modern feminism — with its hyper-focus on selfish inner power relating to outer power — can't wrap its head around.
This is why the 1937 film was such a masterpiece and appealed to so many people, and why the modern "live-action" film is likely going to bomb and eventually be forgotten. The modern version is a shallow shell of what the original told. It misses the point entirely.
It doesn't understand the power of kindness and warmth.
White Boy Summer just got extended for at least four more years. The War on Boys that started decades ago has finally ended; the boys won decisively on Nov. 5, 2024. Young guys (18-29) shifted 29 points to the right since 2020!
I saw this one coming from miles away. Boys, especially straight, white ones who can’t claim any special status as a member of a “marginalized” or “oppressed” group, have been cast as the bad guys in the modern world, and they know it. They know that in truth they are the most marginalized group in America. //
We owe these boys our gratitude. In a poignant echo of June 6, 1944, on Nov. 5, 2024, young American men of every creed and color were once again called to protect the nation from being subjugated by a ruthless enemy.
Thank you for your service, guys. You did it.

Lefty women: We are every bit the equals of men, but if you treat us like men are treated you are sexist because we expect to be treated differently because we are women. We deserve special privileges like we are always right no matter what.

I read an article, written by a woman, a few years ago who said she had spent an extended period of time observing men interacting with other men. She spent time in coffeeshops, sporting goods stores, hardware stores, and so on where a woman was not unusual, but the clientele was predominately male. Her conclusion was that if a man treated a woman exactly the same as he would a man in the same situation ( giving advice on a product, how to do a repair) he would be accused of mansplaining. In short, if you really want to anger some women just give her exactly what she asked for.
I'm constantly being told by corporate media, political activists, and entertainment creators that masculinity is evil, dangerous, and needs to be lessened, even feminized. I'm told that masculinity is toxic and that we need to teach boys early on that their more boyish mannerisms should be curbed and tamped down in order to be better and help make a more equal society.
Meanwhile, as my fellow men and I are villainized for merely existing as we are, we're given examples to emulate. We're shown men who are less aggressive, more caring, softer, empathetic, and focused on equality. This is the enlightened male. He's gentle and supportive. He listens and makes is open about his emotions.
He is the male feminist, and according to the mainstream left, he should be the ultimate goal for every man to be. //
The fact is, we're often told masculinity is a form of evil that has to be checked, but it's pretty obvious that a lack of masculinity causes a real issue, not just for society in general, which needs masculinity to function properly, but it causes an issue within men. When it's not present, something goes wrong, like a loose gear or a burnt out wire. These men suddenly become unmanly. They abuse women and display both emotional and physical cruelty to them.
The lack of masculinity is the issue, not the presence of it.
As usual, the proof is right in front of us, but it's highly unlikely that mainstream leftism will ever admit to it, which is par for the course. //
As you can see, there is a well-established pattern here. Make people believe you are a caring, empathetic man who understands the plight of women and will stand up for them. You will use your masculinity, not for the toxicity you see men often accused of, but to advance the cause of "equality." Then the facade drops and it's discovered that you're actually a massive piece of garbage.
‘In many ways, my life is what I always dreamed it would be, except for one glaring difference: I am not a mother. I wish I was.’ //
If most women knew they were sacrificing the freedom, provision, and safety of full-time mothering to be a gypped gas station attendant or “Office Space”-style paper-pusher, far more would choose full-time motherhood. To make it easier for themselves to reach the C-suite and the Oval Office, elite women sell their lower-class sisters glamorous false promises of “Boss Babe.” This is another reason we should reject feminism: it damages women. //
Another part of Cheng’s situation besides the lack of broad social networking opportunities is also now common to all women. It’s the no-win outcome of the Sexual Revolution: women must either have sex with men before marriage or the men can easily find other women who will.
The post-Pill expectation that women will make sex an infertile act obviously eliminates a major motivation for men to pop the question. If the men Cheng dated in her 20s and 30s couldn’t get sex aside from accepting the responsibilities of husbandry — which include fatherhood — I’d bet $10,000 she would have secured a man before her fertility window closed. //
Of course, men also get economic and familial security from marriage, as married men earn more, reach higher career zeniths, are happier, and live longer. But those benefits are less obvious and require a longer timeframe than the benefits women and children get from marriage, which usually begin accruing much earlier.
This is one major negative effect of America’s leaders deciding to kill Christianity as a social norm. It’s also another way in which people who participate in the life of a local church dramatically increase their chances of finding a spouse while they still are physically capable of procreation. Pastors, congregations, denominations, and Holy Scripture itself all stand behind women who say, “I’d love to have sex with you, but I can’t unless we’re married.”
You'll notice various polls showing that men are growing increasingly conservative, while women are becoming more leftist. Not surprising given that Democrats have embraced feminism as one of its core ideologies. It's going to be very women-centric, catering its message to females at every turn. However, Democrat logic is that all the most important groups under its umbrella are victims, and you can't have a victim without an oppressor, and men were chosen to fill that role.
Men... who make up around half of the voting population. //
The election hasn't happened yet, but rest assured, Democrat strategists are not happy that so many men have turned their backs on the Democrat Party, but it's its own fault. They decided to pick a fight with masculinity, the essence of humanity that is literally designed to fight and win.
And this problem is only going to deepen as Democrats continue to hate men.

BREAKING: The U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee's intends to require women to register for Selective Service as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for FY25.
11:45 PM · Jun 14, 2024. //
I don't see what adding women to Selective Service gets us beyond pushing the feminist and DEI agenda.
My argument against drafting women is a cultural one. Healthy societies that aren't in extremis don't force their young women to go off to war. I'd argue that just like dying cultures send their women out to be prostitutes, healthy cultures balk at forcing young women into the military. But that boat has already sailed. Healthy societies don't have a 41 percent out-of-wedlock birthrate. Healthy societies don't surgically mutilate kids. Healthy societies focus on family formation and they don't treat random homosexual pairings the same as marriage. We obviously are not a healthy society and this surrender to the false god of sexual equality just lets us know the war to save our culture has been lost.
Senator Mike Lee has announced his opposition.
“My sons absolutely hated it. They felt that it was emasculating. And I agree, to a certain extent. I'm raising two boys. I want 'em to feel powerful too [while] respecting women. I like pop culture when it attempts to empower women without robbing men of their possibility to be men, to also protect and provide. I believe in giving women all the tools and the trust that we can do it all without losing our essence, without losing our femininity. I think that men have a purpose in society and women have another purpose as well. We complement each other, and that complement should not be lost.”
A majority of young women say they prefer traditional femininity to radical feminism, an online survey has found.
Women physically can’t or, more often, simply won’t do the manual labor jobs that build and sustain our civilization. //
Modern feminism has convinced generations of women that they are victims of a patriarchal society and that male leadership and attributes are inherently unjust and “toxic.” The result has been women who are bitter, self-pitying, and ungrateful. Men, meanwhile, have become dangerously discouraged. “[F]or every one woman who drops out of college, seven men drop out,” writes Federalist Contributor Owen Strachan. “Men have left the workforce in almost unprecedented numbers; the current employment rate of men in prime working years mirrors that of the Great Depression.”
Strachan adds that men are increasingly abandoning their families and fueling a cycle of fatherless homes. Lastly, “In the bleakest category there is,” writes Strachan, men are killing themselves at far greater rates than women, making up a disturbing 80 percent of suicides.
Demoralizing men is not good for men, nor is it good for women. Frustratingly for many women, nearly 50 percent of young men between 18 and 25 have never approached a woman in person to ask her on a date. No date means no marriage, no children, and a population hovering dangerously below replacement rates.
When men’s masculine qualities, such as competitiveness, stoicism, and aggression, are demonized instead of channeled for good, horrible things happen. Women forget how much men rely on us to build them up. They desire our approval and respect. When we vilify their very nature, society begins to fall apart. Anyone who looks around can see it happening now in real-time.
March is Women’s History Month, when man-hating becomes even more socially acceptable than the other 11 months of the year. This March, if women really cared about the betterment of their sex, they’d start appreciating men. If we have any chance of avoiding civilizational collapse, women need to reject the feminist cult and begin understanding that both sexes play necessary and complementary roles in society.
To provide more context, the European Institute for Gender Equality is behind this latest display of stupidity. The agency released a document recommending changes to various phrases and terms to supposedly make them more inclusive.
The phrase, made famous by Captain Kirk (William Shatner), has a red cross next to it in a 61-page toolkit on gender-sensitive communication.
EU agency the European Institute for Gender Equality calls it an example of “where women may be subject to invisibility or omission”.
World War One phrase “no man’s land” should be “unclaimed territory”, they say. //

😳👇🏻Presentism at work yet again. Why start at Trek? 🤨Isn’t it better to start at the beginning and redo foundation material such as the Magna Carta, religious writings, works of Shakespeare before worrying about a silly TV show opening that reflects social commentary of the time? If people are offended by 6 seconds of dialogue recorded in 1966 without a modicum of understanding of the social issues at the time there’s bigger issues that they need to deal with first - like educating themselves.
Previously, we focused on the sheer physicality required of close-combat unit members, in this particular case, tank crewmen. Today, we will focus on two competing issues. First, we can recognize that it is indeed possible to find women who can meet minimum standards for just about any given position. Second, the effort required to do so, must be an analysis of the costs, versus any expected benefits of doing so…especially when finding men to exceed the standard is so much easier than finding women to can barely meet it. We’ll get into that particular discussion in a follow-on piece.
Here’s why the discussion. It’s just biology. Let’s look at one physical act in detail to explain the point. These two extracts show the “military/shoulder press” capability of both men and women, aged 25, at varying levels of weight lifting experience/ability. The source is from Strength Level website, where you can compare and contrast various factors in physical fitness. I chose this particular exercise as experience shows it’s closest to the movement required to lift a main gun round overhead and hand it to another crewman on the tank deck. //
At this point, we have determined that for this particular requirement (and there are a host of others in this category) it takes extra effort to bring females up to the physical standard of the average male. When we begin to consider national-level personnel policy for our armed forces, we need to consider this and a number of other factors as we weigh the cost versus benefit of deciding to put/keep women in close combat units.
There is a piece of video propaganda making its way around the news services and the internet. It features imagery of an all-female, Israeli Army tank crew. //
That crew of dedicated Israeli patriots deserves nothing but kudos. They have stepped up to defend their nation against an evil force of terrorists who murdered infants in the crib among other atrocities. My beef, is with Americans who want to use those achievements to promote the provably and long-proven, false proposition, that generally speaking, females perform just as well as males in close combat units–moreover that somehow this Israeli example justifies the continued feminization of the American military. That’s. Just. Not. True. //
Two (of many) things left out of the video would demonstrate why women are physically unsuited for the role of tank crewman. What occurs inside the tank during combat isn’t relatively speaking, the physically demanding part. It’s what occurs prior to and after the battle that beats your body to death and requires strength and stamina to perform.
One of these crew tasks, is the manual upload of the “basic load” of tank ammunition from the ammo carrier or ground pallet, into the turret of the tank. Tank main gun rounds, depending on the type, weigh between 40, and over 50 pounds each. The Israeli Merkava 4, carries 48 rounds of 120 mm main gun ammo. Each round must be manually uploaded and placed into the vehicle’s storage magazine. //
Another onerous task required to be performed by armored vehicle crewmen, is “breaking track.” This physically demanding operation takes place when one or more of the track shoes must be taken out and replaced by a new one…or when the tank, or other armored vehicle, “throws” a track and it must be manually put back in place.
