Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of far-left propaganda outlet The Atlantic, published an article Tuesday with glaring fabrications about former President Donald Trump’s interactions with the families of fallen service members and his outlook on military leadership.

Goldberg’s dishonest hit piece is the latest in a long line of far-left outlets lying and deceiving the American people before a major election. //

While Goldberg’s claims are sourced by “contemporaneous notes” and “a witness,” they were disputed publicly by senior members of the Trump administration who were actually in the room at the time of the alleged incident. //

Goldberg’s smear piece is in line with his 2020 lie, the “suckers and loser” hoax that was also heavily rebutted by nearly everyone involved, which he originated late in the election season as well. Conveniently, Democrats have since been rolling that hoax out every time Trump mentions the military, as they did again in the aftermath of Trump attending the Arlington National Cemetery ceremony.

As my colleague Jordan Boyd wrote, “Nearly two dozen Trump White House officials debunked the hit piece, which only received ‘confirmation’ from one source outside of Goldberg.” In the same way, Goldberg’s newest screed is thinly sourced and relies on anonymous testimony while ignoring or devaluing on-the-record statements.

Goldberg also appears to have invented out of thin air a denial from Meadows spokesman Ben Williamson, saying that Meadows “denied having heard Trump make the statement.” In reality, Meadows said Trump “absolutely did not say that.”

The idea that Trump’s second term would usher in fascism isn’t just absurd—it’s a slap in the face to the millions who have suffered under actual fascist regimes throughout history. Fascism, by definition, involves the total suppression of opposition, the abolition of free elections, and the merging of state and corporate power into authoritarian control.

Think Benito Mussolini’s Italy or Adolf Hitler’s Germany, where dissent was brutally crushed, political opponents were jailed or executed, and the press was reduced to a government propaganda machine.

In comparison, Trump’s four years in office look like a model of democratic dysfunction, not dictatorship. During his first term, Americans were free to protest, criticize him openly, and vote him out of office. The 2020 election happened as scheduled, and despite the noise about election challenges, Trump left the White House on January 20, 2021. No coup, no military takeover, no indefinite suspension of power—just Trump boarding Marine One and Biden taking the oath of office. The peaceful transition may not have been pretty, but it happened.

If Trump was aiming for fascism, he did a spectacularly poor job.

Real fascism doesn't entertain opposing viewpoints—it eliminates them. Yet, under Trump, media outlets relentlessly attacked him without fear of government retaliation. There were no state-run news channels or purges of journalists. Compare that with Mussolini’s control over Italy’s press or Hitler’s use of propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels to manipulate information. In Trump’s America, CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times freely published critical stories every day.

That’s not fascism—it’s freedom, even if it makes the media’s portrayal of Trump as a dictator seem laughably detached from reality. //

Fascist regimes historically centralize power by shutting down elections and political opposition. Hitler’s Nazi party outlawed opposition parties, while Mussolini dismantled Italy’s parliament entirely. Trump, by contrast, lost re-election after being dragged through two impeachment trials. His critics and political opponents—including members of his own party—remained vocal and visible throughout his presidency. Far from silencing dissent, Trump was often criticized for being unable to rein in factions within his own administration.

The media’s obsession with labeling Trump a “fascist” is little more than political theater designed to distract voters from the issues that matter. Poll after poll shows that Americans care most about inflation, crime, immigration, and the economy—not recycled narratives about January 6 or imaginary authoritarian takeovers.

I’ve studied history my whole life (I’m 4 months short of 70). Especially the study of the quest for State power in the 20th century. The universal response of socialists, Bolsheviks, communists, Marxists to their opponents is to portray them as fascists. It’s automatic. Trumps opponents are basically socialists. Socialism has infiltrated our society and culture to such a degree that they no longer have to hide their political agenda. Everyone else is to the right of them and hence, fascists.

The portrayal of this election as close or neck and neck is a myth. The left will be shocked at (and will willfully deny) how wide Trumps margin of victory proves to be.

Trump is perhaps the most moderate President we've had since Eisenhower. Fascism is not a right wing ideology, it is an economic system whereby government colludes with corporations to do things government cannot do in exchange for preferential treatment and increased profits. COVID was the perfect example of it. Corporations got all kinds of exemptions, breaks, incentives, etc to implement and enforce vax and mask mandates by threatening them with loss of employment. Most of those companies were declared' ''essential businesses" and made record profits, while those who declined to jump on the panic bandwagon were shut down. Lots of them are out of business now.

Hitler was a committed socialist before he was a fascist. He realized socialism wouldn't keep up with war production for his ambitions, so he partnered with German industrialists to produce his materials for profit. CBS News has really differentiated itself lately, and not in a good way. Fresh off an editing scandal involving "60 Minutes" and Vice President Kamala Harris, the left-wing broadcast network has now been caught red-handed deceptively editing an interview with House Speaker Mike Johnson. //

It'd be one thing if the entirety of the above exchanges were cut out for time. At least then, nothing is misconstrued. It's a completely different thing, though, to start chopping up individual answers and omitting key context. That's what CBS News is doing, but to hurt Republicans and help Harris.

Wow. Big if true. It further reports:

Federal Emergency Management Agency crews in North Carolina were forced to relocate due to a reported armed threat against workers, first reported by The Washington Post.

The move comes after an email sent by the U.S. Forest Service to federal responders in Rutherford County, alerted them of an apparent standdown after National Guard troops reportedly encountered armed militia saying they were "hunting FEMA."

Woof, again, big if true. But let’s read the next paragraph in the CBS article.

The North Carolina National Guard sent CBS News the following statement, saying, "The NCNG has no reports of our soldiers or airmen encountering any armed militia, any threats and any type of combatants. We are continuing to serve all those counties in need of our assistance."

Ok, so the National Guard told CBS that the story about armed gangs of men “Goin’ huntin’ fer some FEMA hides” is a lie. The National Guard confirms that it didn't happen, but sorry, AP, CBS writes a sensational headline for clicks anyway. The headline states a “fact” that isn’t remotely accurate – but reports it as a fact - knowing Harris voters will read the headline and tell their friends that armed gangs of KKK-hooded hoodlums have murdered puppies and FEMA people.

I'm over the left pretending like it cares about the human race when it consistently exhibits a disdain and sometimes hostile attitude toward it. All the venerated minds that the left holds in high regard, seem to think that humanity is killing the planet, chiding and lecturing us about our use of fossil fuels and claiming we've stolen the hopes and dreams of future generations. //

As Susie Moore reported on Sunday, Elon Musk and SpaceX are making huge advancements all the time, bringing humanity closer and closer to being a space-faring species. Even further, any negative consequences for expressing their views are their own fault for daring to argue against progressivism.

To put it simply, they want to blame the assassination attempt on Trump because they want you to shut up.

The thing is, people conflate leftists with liberals, and that's a deliberate redefining of the word BY the leftists. Here's a little ditty I've been posting for years:

Stop Calling Them “Liberals”
Please, folks, I've said this for years. Please stop calling them “Liberals” - call them out for what they really are: Leftists/Progressives/Socialists/Marxists/Communists. "Leftists," for short, if nothing else.

They stole, and redefined, the term “Liberal” (as is their wont, to redefine words to suit their needs), to cash in on the actual Classical Liberal’s positive points while possessing none of them.

Even the word "Progressive" has been redefined by the left, because their actions are actually REgressive, but the classic example is the word “liberal” itself, which the far-left co-opted. It was adopted because of its positive connotation, and used as a cover for imposing greater leftist/marxist control under the false guise of liberty.

In reality, there is nothing “liberal” about failing to protect life [or actively taking it under the also redefined lie of “women’s reproductive health care”], releasing multiple-time violent felons back onto the streets with no bond, burdening individuals with regulations and taxes, allowing unlimited illegal aliens into the country with no repercussions, forcing individuals to provide services to others, or “mandating” what health actions that individuals must take, and penalizing them in multiple facets of their life if they do not comply.

This is no accidental misnomer, but a strategic messaging attempt to influence people. Of course, who doesn’t want to support a policy that is “progressive,” “pro-choice,” “common sense,” or “affordable’ (all also chosen for their positive spin, while not meeting their own definitions)?

Today’s Leftists/Socialists/Progressives/Marxists, calling themselves a “Liberal,” have absolutely nothing in common with the Classical Liberal - the Classical Liberal advocated civil liberties under the rule of law with an emphasis on economic freedom - more in tune with today's Libertarians.

I’m neither - I’m so conservative I make Ronald Reagan look like Gorbachev’s even further leftist cousin, but I respect the Classical Liberal, who has more in common with the Libertarian today.

The more we call out the so-called “Liberals” for what they are, the more the mask of their eventual intent (full fledged socialism leading to communism) might become clear to some.

Spread this message far and wide, everywhere and every time you see someone incorrectly referring to a “Liberal” when they mean Leftist/Progressive/Marxist - create a wave of understanding of their true nature.

The Problem with far-left progressives, who are maybe 20% of the population, is they think themselves morally and intellectually superior to you and me, the other 80% (which includes non-progressive Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Non-affiliated, Libertarians, etc.). And because far-left progressives feel that our 80% has created an inferior society, they believe it’s their duty to overrule us by passing laws that will create the “correct society," the society that “should be." Most Democrats and actual liberals (not leftists) are quietly aware that it’s their current progressive far-left leadership that has let them down, a leadership that has not represented them properly.

Regular non-progressive main-stream Democrats are over-taxed and over-regulated, too. They experience the outfall of illegal immigration, off-shoring, lawlessness, little upward mobility, drug abuse and expensive health care, just like you and me. Obviously, they live in houses and apartments, have children, jobs, hopes, expectations and fears just like anyone else.

In a New York Times column, “The Constitution Is Broken and Should Not Be Reclaimed,” law professors Ryan D. Doerfler of Harvard and Samuel Moyn of Yale called for the Constitution to be “radically altered” to “reclaim America from constitutionalism.”

Georgetown University Law School Professor Rosa Brooks went on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” to lash out at Americans becoming “slaves” to the U.S. Constitution and that the Constitution itself is now the problem for the country.

I was recently called for a response to Robinson’s call. Yet, it is not clear if Robinson is speaking about the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution as that “little piece of paper.” However, she insists that “[i]n this moment, we’ve got to reimagine it with people that look and love like us at the center.”

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. I've always had a morbid fascination with the cruelty of leftism because it always comes with what they see as a moral justification. The left can denounce everything someone does as a heinous social sin of the worst kind, worthy of social isolation and exclusion, and then, in the same breath, do or say the exact same thing.

As I've said for years, the unofficial motto of the left is, and always will be, "it's okay when we do it." //

These intimidation tactics are disgusting, considering this isn't just affecting Vance but his wife and three children of two, four, and six years of age. To be sure, if this was happening in the opposite direction and these were Republicans doing this outside the personal home of a politician with young children, you'd never heard the end of it from activists, the media, and social media denizens. //

She quotes Luke Conway, a Grove City College psychology professor who studies authoritarian tendencies in populations. While he discovered both the left and the right have these tendencies, the left is largely blind to their own:

“When conservatives agree with those items, they subsequently admit (accurately) that they are authoritarian,” Conway wrote. “When liberals agree with those items, they actually are more likely to say they are not authoritarian.” The more authoritarian they are, the less they believe they are authoritarian, he notes. //

how often do you see leftists on social media, or in the media, or activist groups, completely and totally memory hole the real suffering and brutality put upon others that don't align with their way of thinking.

Those killed by illegal migrants. Trump's assassination attempt. The beating of Rand Paul by his neighbor. Antifa's attacks and assaults. The destruction and death connected to the Black Lives Matter riots. The utilization of government departments to attack citizens that reject leftist agendas.

All of these things are wholly pushed into the shadows or, when brought up, justified through some flimsy means or subjected to ridiculous and often untrue "whataboutism."

This can only be done if they truly see their opponents as not deserving of human treatment because they see them, you, as less than human. //

Honestly, I actually think it isn't even that complicated. Of the seven deadly sins, many would argue Pride is the worst and the source for the other six.

Leftists teach that to be special has less to do with the kind of person you are than the kind of person you say you are. Combine that with a tendency many humans have in which they enjoy being cruel and you have a system that rewards cruelty in the name of right-think.

In other words, leftists give in to the worst parts of human nature simply because they enjoy it.

PBS’s Judy Woodruff may have spent the last 50-plus years in journalism, but her attempt to wrongfully accuse former President Donald Trump of killing the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas and then lying about it proves she’s more of a Democrat propagandist than anything else. //

Woodruff claimed she was “referring to reports I had read, in Axios and Reuters, about former President Trump having spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister.” //

In this case, however, neither outlet asserted that Trump tried to discourage Netanyahu from peace negotiations, as Woodruff claimed. //

Woodruff’s decision to lie in the “clarification” and “apology” she designed to cover for her initial lie only further solidifies that she is not fit to fairly and accurately report.

Big news: I messaged @Lowes executives last week to let them know that I planned to expose their woke policies. This morning I woke up to an email where they preemptively made big changes.

Here are the changes:

• Ending participation in the @HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index social credit system.

• No more donations to pride events or other divisive events.

• Ending ERG groups in favor of one large unifying ERG group for all employees, no longer designed to focus on race or sexual orientation.

They also hint at more future changes. We’re now forcing multi-billion dollar organizations to change their policies without even posting just from fear they have of being the next company that we expose.

We are winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America.

So far you’ve helped me change corporate policy at Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle and now Lowe’s. We are a force to be reckoned with. //

That is the beauty of all this. Employees and probably some C-suite junior executives are tracking down Starbuck to let him know about the underhanded inner workings of their companies when it comes to DEI implementation. They reflect the spirit of the age. Hardworking Americans are tired and fed up with having to jump through these DEI hoops while their hard work and company loyalty are ignored or disregarded.

While some might have some points of contention when it comes to whether he is truly fostering free speech, it is clear that X is not the same platform it was before he took over. I have my own criticism of some of the changes. But it seems clear that more right-leaning voices are able to make their views known without the rampant censorship that was happening under prior management.

Moreover, as I stated previously, none of the leftists who are whining about Musk allowing more right-leaning content to flourish on X had trouble with supposed “misinformation” when the left was dominating the platform. Very few of them criticized then-Twitter when it suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story. Almost none took issue with the content moderation team that targeted people with right-wing views.

The author’s criticism of Musk’s conflicts with governments over censorship also reveals the true motivation behind their complaints. These folks have no problem with the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and other countries suppressing content because most of their attacks on free speech go one way: Toward those expressing conservative views.

The notion that Musk is somehow turning X into a haven for right-wingers is silly. But on one level, it is understandable. To those who are accustomed to leftists having supremacy over social media, allowing more speech from both sides might seem like propping up right-wing content. When a playing field is not level, creating more balance might seem as if it is skewed toward the side that was previously suppressed.

The truth is that folks on the left have only themselves to blame for Musk inserting himself into digital media. The left created Musk like the Joker created Batman in the 1989 film starring Michael Keaton. There would have been no need for Musk to take over X if those in charge had not actively suppressed content based on political viewpoints.

Why in the ever-loving world should Elon Musk use one red cent of his vast wealth to help improve Mid-Market? In case nobody informed you, Mr. Shaw, that's not his job. The taxpayers are paying some of the highest taxes in the republic, and they have every reason to expect that some of that money would be used to keep people from, well, shooting up and crapping on the streets. That's not Elon's responsibility. He doesn't owe Mid-Market, the Tenderloin, or the city of San Francisco a damn thing. But that's just like the left - sit around whining, waiting for someone else to do something.

Some years ago, one of my literary heroes, Robert Heinlein, wrote about situations just like this:

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck.” //

If I could offer any advice to Chiu, Shaw, and Gavin Newsom, it would be that they had better keep a sharp eye peeled for locusts. //
