As RedState reported Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, had quite a bit to say recently on the subject of how a terrified Democratic Party War Machine is working so hard to keep third-party candidates like Kennedy off the ballot headed into the November elections. //

On Wednesday after a court appearance in New York state to appeal a ruling that effectively would keep him off the ballot, Kennedy himself went off on Democrats who have talked big this week at the Democrat National Convention about voting rights and democracy but who behind the scenes have gone to unprecedented levels to suppress third-party candidates:

"The DNC is in Chicago talking about their commitment to voting rights, while they're spending tens, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars to keep me off the ballot."

"There's a million people in this country who have signed petitions trying to get me on the ballot. 145,000 at least people here in New York State. They want to see me on the ballot. Why is the Democratic Party trying to disenfranchise those people? What's happened to the party?"

"I don't think my father would recognize this party, and I don't think my uncle would recognize this party." //

As the grand illusion, otherwise known as the Democrat National Convention (DNC), continues, it is proving to be just a lollapalooza of lies, half-truths, and hatred of Donald Trump greater than their love of America on full display. They also continue to float the same old, tired, worn-out ideas like: Democrats are the party of the middle class, minorities, and women. Thankfully, middle-class and minority voters are realizing this is not the case. And if we take a look at Democrats' past and present, it is easy to see that they are certainly not the party of women.

For instance, being a third-party candidate on a debate stage alongside Republicans and Democrats is borderline impossible thanks to rules that were created through a group founded by both Republicans and Democrats. I wrote of the Commission on Presidential Debates in 2016 and how it effectively pushed out the League of Women Voters to seize control of the debate stage:

The organization itself was founded in 1987 by a bipartisan Republican/Democrat effort, and has run the debates ever since. //

Before the CPD, the debates were run by the League of Women Voters from 1976 to 1984. The League withdrew when Republicans and Democrats made a deal that would give them full control over the debates, and how they were run.

Nancy Neuman, then head of the League, called the deal “outrageous,” and noted that the Democrats and Republicans wanted to control the questioners, composition of the audience, press access, and more. All of this was done behind closed doors. By the time the deal was done, the League was presented with 16 pages of non-negotiable rules for the debates.

The League departed with a statement that called out exactly what the dual parties were doing and remains accurate to this day:

“The League of Women Voters is withdrawing its sponsorship of the presidential debate scheduled for mid-October because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter,” League President Nancy M. Neuman said today.

“It has become clear to us that the candidates’ organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and honest answers to tough questions,” Neuman said. “The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public.”

Even Walter Cronkite called it an "unconscionable fraud." //

No matter how insane you might think the person is, they deserve a fair shot at winning the people's affections. The rules should not be weighted against them, and the other parties should not be able to manipulate rules to keep them from reaching the people.

It's my honest opinion that a two-party system is incredibly dangerous and limiting. If America's economic system has taught us anything, it's that competition brings out the best in people and the best people overall. Yet, we're currently tied to a dual-party system so filled to the brim with corruption that sometimes it's hard to know where one party begins and the other ends.

Trump wrote:

"The highly overrated Jewish Governor of the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, made a really bad and poorly delivered speech talking about freedom and fighting for Comrade Kamala Harris for President, yet she hates Israel and will do nothing but make its journey through the complexities of survival as difficult as possible, hoping in the end that it will fail. Judge only by her actions!" //

This is a great example of Trump's lack of discipline and focus.

Trump is not antisemtic. That's absurd. The left is. They know it. We know it. They are lying.

If Trump had left off "Jewish", attacked Shapiro, and then said that the Democrats wouldn't pick him for VP because he was Jewish and they hate Jews, he would have made the point he needs to make. I think that's what he meant and that Shapiro was happy supporting a party that wants to see Israel destroyed. He could have mentioned that as well.

Instead, his sloppy rhetoric gives them an opening to lie. Then the right has to come to his defense and explain what Trump meant and how they lie instead of highlighting how antisemitic the left is.

It's just beyond frustrating that he can't stop doing this after 8 years of stepping on rakes. I want to win. This stuff doesn't help. We know we've got to fight against the media, pop culture and the Demonic party. We don't need to score goals on ourselves, especially on an issue we should be beating them with. They've got terrorists outside and inside their convention demanding genocide agaisnt Jews, not us.

You'll notice various polls showing that men are growing increasingly conservative, while women are becoming more leftist. Not surprising given that Democrats have embraced feminism as one of its core ideologies. It's going to be very women-centric, catering its message to females at every turn. However, Democrat logic is that all the most important groups under its umbrella are victims, and you can't have a victim without an oppressor, and men were chosen to fill that role.

Men... who make up around half of the voting population. //

The election hasn't happened yet, but rest assured, Democrat strategists are not happy that so many men have turned their backs on the Democrat Party, but it's its own fault. They decided to pick a fight with masculinity, the essence of humanity that is literally designed to fight and win.

And this problem is only going to deepen as Democrats continue to hate men.

She also spoke about "income inequality," although she was able to become a billionaire in this country.

But Trump had the best response to Winfrey's appearance at the DNC.

The Trump War Room account dropped a letter from Oprah where she says it was one thing "to live a life of integrity — still another to have people like yourself in office...Too bad we're not running for office, what a team!" //

She also had him on her show in a very welcoming way to share his views.

He's been consistent in his thought; it's they who have changed. Even then, he was talking about his concern for the country. They loved him and his money until he was put on the "bad list" by the narrative. //

Winfrey also promoted JD Vance's book at one point as well. That was prior to the narrative being constructed against him.

Instead of promoting a positive view and positive policies for America, the DNC has spent most of their time attacking Trump, having him live rent-free in their minds. They also spent a lot of time lying and ignoring reality, including about things a jobs report that scaled back the jobs created by more than 800,000.

I will say that Clear Choice — this PAC, this DNC-aligned PAC — that was created specifically to take us out has spent millions of dollars to take us out. They have, unfortunately, turned us into a spoiler. And we don't want to be a spoiler. We wanted to win. We wanted a fair shot. The DNC made that impossible for us. They have banned us, shadowbanned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state. They've even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and to create actual legal issues for us. And I mean, the extent by which the sabotage they've unleashed upon us, it's mindblowing. I mean, we're still learning new ways that they have sabotaged us.

It is exclusively because of the Democratic Party taking us out. And I am so disappointed I ever helped them. //

And, you know, given this, I think we are taking a very serious look at making sure that the people that have corrupted our fair and free democracy do not end up in office in November. It's hard — I mean, it's really hard, Tom, to say these words, because it's also acknowledging how bad things are.

They also noted the difference between the DNC and the RNC, which they called a "smoothly operated event."

"The gap that I see in all these speeches -- as good as they were -- [Kamala Harris] is in the White House right now. Pelosi continued to say that Israel has a right to defend itself, leading the protesters to shout even louder. As she argued in favor of a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, many of the protesters further lost their minds.

We have had a commitment to Israel. It’s been in our security interest to do so. Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization. We want the hostages freed. But we don’t want children killed in Gaza. And so we have to come up with a solution. //

The press wasn't interested in that part of the trip, though. Instead, they've spent the last few days obsessing over the fact that some KKK members once marched in Howell. Naturally, that means Trump must be showing some form of tacit support for white supremacy.

Yes, it's as stupid of a contention as has ever existed, and when Trump was asked about it by a reporter, he was ready. It was a mic drop moment, rhetorically speaking at least.

What the reporter says is largely inaudible, but you can make out that she's asking Trump about visiting a city "linked to white supremacy." The crowd groaned in disapproval for a moment before the former president stepped up to the podium. You could tell that he knew he had her.

What Trump is referring to is a visit Joe Biden made to Howell back in 2021. In fact, RedState reported on that visit right after it occurred because protesters showed up to show their displeasure at the president's visit. Was Biden supporting white supremacy when he showed up? That wasn't even a thought in the press' mind because they save such insane stretches of logic for Republicans. //

It was Aishah Hasnie from FOX. She was NOT asking a gotcha question. She told Trump that the Harris campaign was saying this "white supremacy" crap and was curious of Trumps response. She actually helped Trump with the set up. She also had the "Joe Biden" answer to Trump's question.

If Johnson and GOP leadership actually cared about providing a contrasting vision from that produced by Democrats, they’d put their majority to good use. This means spending the August recess holding daily congressional hearings that underscore the severity of the ongoing border invasion and making the case to the American public on why government funding should be withheld next month unless the Biden-Harris administration fixes the crisis.

But Republicans aren’t doing any of that.

When they’re not issuing performative outrage tweets about what Democrats are saying at the DNC, they’re rushing to the nearest Fox News camera to warn viewers about how dangerous the modern left has become.

“Vote Republican to save America!” says the House GOP that’s funded a myriad of Democrat priorities since winning the majority nearly two years ago. //

Even if they lose an election here or there, Democrats recognize that Republicans lack the willpower to overturn tyrannical policies implemented during their time in power, and that voters will put them in charge once the electoral pendulum swings back in their favor. They also have the added bonus of a hyper-politicized federal bureaucracy that advances leftist causes even when a Democrat isn’t in the White House.

What we’re seeing at the DNC this week is an open acknowledgment of this paradigm. Democrats realize they can expose the most unhinged elements of their worldview to the American populace, and vapid Republicans will produce no long-term consequences for it. Their willingness to play the long game has allowed them to push America further away from the constitutional framework created by the Founders into an increasingly unrecognizable dystopia.

There’s only one political force playing to win in America, and it sure as heck isn’t the Republican Party.

The Federalist will be tracking the lies peddled at the four-day event this week as Democrats launch a campaign to maintain the White House.

“So, too many people clapping for too long? Is that what it was?” Hemmer said to Tyler while unable to suppress a laugh over his answer. “Are we to buy that?”

Tyler and his cohorts on the left and in the media (but I repeat myself) can spin this whatever way they want to, but we all know why the speech was pushed back until nearly 11:30 pm Eastern Time and it wasn't because of "raucous applause interrupting speaker after speaker."

I mean, think about it. They know Biden's coherency window is between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm per his handlers, so why on earth would they have him on so late at night, well past the time when he, in their view, conceivably could make the most sense? For that matter, why not 7 or 8 pm ET?

It was because they didn't want voters to be reminded of just how bad a president Biden has been, and of all the behind-the-scenes cutthroat machinations Democrat leaders orchestrated for a few weeks in July to force him out of the race.

It's just as simple as that.

Imagine the press reaction if Vance suggested Beshear's daughter should be raped by an illegal released by the Biden administration so he could appreciate the problem of illegal immigration.

The 2024 Democratic Party platform has been released, and it's basically what you'd expect. Marked by a laundry list of far-left priorities, it mentions Donald Trump over one hundred times.

As RedState reported, it's also full of misleading nonsense, such as claiming that Democrats are "rebuilding" America's broadband network despite their $42 billion allocation not producing anything thus far. Naturally, the "very fine people" hoax got a mention too.

In their haste to proclaim how bad the orange man is, though, the writers of the document missed something. Guess who is mentioned as the nominee multiple times? //

you'd think someone could have read over the Democratic Party's own platform before pushing it out with Biden still in the lead position. Well, you'd think that until you remember these are the same people who have run the federal government into the ground. Competency isn't exactly their strong suit.

During his conversation with Donald Trump on X, Elon Musk said something incredibly poignant, and it was probably the greatest line of the night.

"I think we're at a fork in the road of the destiny of civilization," he said.

The democrat left replaced critical thinking, reason and logic with opinions and feelings that can be much more easily manipulated. They found power in grievance, and whoever is the most aggrieved gets the power. Remember not long ago trans dudes were clubbing people who "deadnamed" or "misgendered" them. Before that it was antifa and pisswed off BLM folks clubbing people on the street. Now it's kaffiyes clubbing yarmulkas.

When you have abandoned reason and logic, you have lost the ability to debate your ideas and persuade people to see your position. You have only emotion left to govern you. When everyone's emotions are on 11 and all screaming victimhood, it isn't long before they turn on one another and start eliminating one another. Violence is all that remains to express emotions after the voices go hoarse.

But it seems the Democrats are tone-deaf and have doubled down on their message to Blacks. That message: DIE. Allowing Planned Parenthood to roll out a "mobile health center" that offers free vasectomies and abortions in a city where Black deaths are at their highest is beyond savage, it's downright cold-blooded. To date in Chicago, there have been 353 homicide deaths, a majority of them young, Black males. But this is the Democrat Party, folks. Using vibes and tokenism as window dressing that they care about Blacks while they advocate for policies and positions that turn the dial of death to 11. //

In Chicago, where Black residents make up about 29% of the population, Black women disproportionately account for over 40% of abortions in Cook County. This raises important questions about why Planned Parenthood and the DNC might specifically target this community offering free abortions.

There is no better way to give Blacks the middle finger than to offer up more ways to extinguish themselves. It is clear: Democrats hate life. Anyone who has abortion 13 times in their party platform but not one mention of God has no regard for the creator of Life or his creation, especially the Black ones. Rogan talks about the "180" this was from "the machine's" effort to go after him now. They loved him until he got in the way of their power and control.

In 1986 Donald Trump, along with Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali was given the "Ellis Island Award" in NYC for patriotism, tolerance and brotherhood. I am well old enough to remember Donald Trump saying this same stuff back in the early 80's. He warned the government! He's never changed. The democrat party changed - they're no longer the party of my mother or even of my youth.
