Tom Cotton Just Decimates 'Deranged Fanatic' Jack Smith, Says Latest Action Is 'Election Interference' – RedState
thumbnail

This is unverified, un-cross-examined hearsay from grand jury testimony, which usually isn’t revealed publicly for that reason. He went to court. He asked for special permission to file a brief that’s four times as long as a normal brief and to have it disclosed less than 30 days before the election. This is professional misconduct in all likelihood by Jack Smith and it should be investigated. //

Cotton incisively argued that Trump didn't incite violence, as Smith's filing claims, but instead told the protesters at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to “protest peacefully and patriotically," again calling Smith guilty of election interference.

This is a perfect example of actual election interference: Jack Smith violating Department of Justice regulations to try to get out as much unverified, so-called evidence as he has because he’s angry that he lost and the Democrats don’t think they can beat Donald Trump on issues like inflation and immigration. //

Finally, when Welker asked Cotton if Trump indeed lost the 2020 election, the senator deftly answered:

You had states that were changing their election practices or election laws, sometimes in violation of the Constitution. You had networks combining with big tech to suppress what we now know to be a truthful story about Hunter Biden’s laptop and the evidence that it exposed about Biden family corruption.

Concepts and applications of battery energy storage systems - 1684858

I think the reason this is so heart-warming is that it feels like the true America. It feels like freedom, it feels like hope. There is enthusiasm and sincerity, that are sorely lacking from the leftist Democrats. Nobody was paid to be there, and there was just a lot of patriotic and community goodwill. That's why we have to win. That's why I believe and hope that we will.

Supreme Court Declines to Hear Texas Abortion Ban Case – RedState

the Texas case will now return to the District Court for further proceedings, but for now, the Texas Human Life Protection Act remains in effect. //

This frivolous appeal by Biden's admin is indicative of their contempt for legal rulings they don't like and the courts that issue them. They are tyrants just looking for the opportunity to rule us all.

SCOTUS was clear on making abortion a state, not federal issue. //

States rights exist for a reason and do not prevail only when the federal government allows them to. That's the whole point of states rights. People in red states shouldn't have to live like the people in blue states and vice versa. Abortion advocates are hyperventilating that the federal government, at Trump's direction, will ban all abortions, but have no problem if the federal government, at a Democrat's direction, bans all restrictions on abortion, including restrictions that prevent born alive babies from being left to die. The best way to resolve this conflict is to allow state voters, not federal voters, to decide the regulation issue. We've been arguing about abortion for more than 50 years despite the fact it's been legal that entire time, but legal is never enough, safe and rare is a joke and "celebrate abortion" is the battle cry of pro-abortion advocates. Why don't they put as much time and effort into preventing unwanted pregnancies as they put into killing unwanted babies? It's cheaper, safer and no human life is lost.

My wife and I came from broken homes and married at 19/20. We were poor, in a profession with a divorce rate much higher than the national average, which forced us to live away from family, move often, and spend half of our first ten years married apart. We literally had people at our wedding betting on how quickly we’d get divorced, and now, 25 years later, we are happily married, have raised 3 kids, and are still in love. Here’s why.

In terms of women venting to men, one thing I implemented in my relationships that has drastically improved communication is this. If they are upset and start venting, ask whether they want solutions, or companionship. That helps them to also get used to clarifying for me "Hey I need solutions" or "Hey I need to just talk". Super huge boost in my dating life.

North Carolina Deputy Warns People Who Want to Help Western North Carolina: 'Do Not Donate to FEMA' – RedState
thumbnail

Please donate what you can, try to find a nonprofit to donate to. Uh, church, local PD. A lot of those are taking donations, sheriff's departments. I know my department is running a bunch of stuff to the western part of the state to help donate, but please do not donate to FEMA.

They are hindering a lot of what people are trying to accomplish out in the western part of the state.

FEMA doesn't understand that these Appalachian people are built differently. I'm very familiar with them. They are not gonna stand by idly and have government officials tell them what to do. FEMA's playing a game of FAFO because free men don't ask for permission. Again, please donate and help these people out. They need us now more than ever.” //

FEMA can try their bureaucratic "We're in charge" moves to try and divert resources and true help, but these mountain folks are not going to go quietly. Posts like this one, from law enforcement no less, help to bring even more noise.

After this first video went viral, Deputy DeStefano received lots of response and requests asking where they should send their donations. So, he did a follow-up video encouraging relief organizations and churches in the western part of the state to drop their contact information in the video comments.

Atomic Show #321 - Andrew Harmon, VP Natura Resources - Atomic Insights

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a construction permit on September 16, 2024 to Abilene Christian University (ACU) to build a molten salt research reactor. This marked the first university research reactor approval in 30 years. It is the first liquid fuel reactor ever approved for construction by the NRC and only the second advanced reactor approved since the NRC was created in 1974.

Aside: The first advanced reactor construction permit was issued to Kairos for its Hermes in December 2023. End Aside

Natura Resources is the technology supplier for the important new facility. Andrew Harmon, Natura Resources Vice President of Operations and Business Development visited the Atomic Show to fill in some of the backstory about the project origins, the decision to pursue a research reactor as a step towards their ultimate goal of supplying a large number of factory-produced 100 MWe molten salt reactors, some of the major successes and challenges along the way and the level of community support that the project has attracted.

What Now, GA (and Other GOP) Legislatures? You’ve Been Warned: Dominion Voting Machines Need Scrutiny – RedState

In the end, he found that Georgia statute 21-2-300(a)(2) – which states that Raffensperger must certify that machines are “safe and practicable for use” – by the letter of the law only requires that such certification be done before the machines are put into use. In this case, that was 2019. Bringing this issue up in 2024 does not change the fact that the machines were, in fact, declared safe – rightly or wrongly – by the appropriate officials in 2019. Nor does it matter that those officials were unaware of this potential vulnerability.

What is implied in this reasoning behind the dismissal? Most significantly, Judge McAfee found no reason to question the testimony offered by DeKalb’s experts (Clay Parikh and Ben Cotton). He is impliedly, in a judicial finding, saying that, yes, there is compelling, uncontroverted evidence that Dominion’s voting machines contain the master encryption key – allowing access to all functions, including vote tabulations – in plain sight within the machines.

Likely understanding the significance of his implied finding, Judge McAfee said this in his third-to-last line: “[…] this matter is currently one that must be deferred to the policymaking branches.”

Point taken, Judge McAfee. Now the question becomes: Where is the Georgia GOP legislature? Why are they not walking in to the halls of the legislature today and introducing a bill requiring the Secretary of State to certify that these machines are currently secure? Dominion is the second largest provider of machines in the United States.

Why aren’t all Republican jurisdictions rushing to get this potential security threat addressed, or at least acknowledged? Hopefully some Republicans will have to face questioning on this.
